Reminds me of when he wanted to learn Joe Rogan's kicking technique like he wasn't the world champion 🌏🏆 lol. One of the qualities that made him a great champ was he was open to learning new things.
Yeah it really seems like he is. He would be a really good athlete. I'd like to see him fight in something like MMA. There's this UFC promotion or whatever it's called. He would've been a good matchup for the retired guy Micheal Bisping I think.
Respect to George, he knows he can do handstand but he's listening to the guy about true gymnastics form is straightup. George is like I know I'm cheating by arching over. That's how u learn. Respect to the trainer he's like now u teach me to fight. Love it. Fun session
Anyone saying this sort of drill is "useless" for GSP to train needs to maintain top position on someone athletic and larger than them. Being able to roll your body and have dynamic balance really helps. Having strength in all areas of the body helps, too.
He picks up his coins everytime when they drop and put it back in his pocket. Something tells me he doesnt trust those 2 black gentlemen's sitting there for holding his coins lol.

if you look at his latest update on his recovery, you will see that he actually uses this ball to do some training as demonstrated in this video. its very effective. I'm pretty sure he knows whats better for him, more than you do!
Yeah shoulders are a big problem is most fighting sports. Forrest Griffin for example, his shoulders are reeeaaally bad. It's wear and tear from locks, grinding and throwing punches. Scar tissue and cartilage builds up in the joints. Some of it can be removed surgically, but it can never be a 100% again. I'm not even on a mediocre level of martial arts, and I've got a slight shoulder problem as well, just from bjj and punching.
This guy tryin to teach what he hasnt even mastered yet i can tell he can even handstand push up i feel bad for those photographers snappin shots before he fell again thats why your back is very important specially lower back to hold the body up while doing hspu
I love how at 5 minutes he tries to show him a handstand and can't even hold one for more than a second. GSP was better than him, and FYI a proper handstand lies in having no shoulder angle, not where you look.
Ball guy: Hey George, i got a ball! Wanna be friends? GSP: Meh, i do not think so...... Ball guy: I can to 50% tricks on this ball, please come play with me and my ball..... BALL
coordination is specific to skills, since theyre not fighting on a waterbed ,it wont help anyone.I use one to warm up and do some core exercises but i know it doesnt help my coordination or balance.
It's nice to see no egos here. Nice looking (yet tough) fighter not afraid to try out something new in public. A perfect example that true fighters have nothing to prove ;-) A flexibility issue, but that goes with the sport with too much bench pressing, boxing, and fighting stances. Cute guys ;-)
Georges doing handstands in street clothes… ok There are videos of him working out in a gym where he’s walking around in a handstand… 😧 he’s always excited to learn something that he doesn’t know. That’s what makes him a great fighter and a great guy.
ok, how about the fact that john chaimberg uses a lot of stabilizer balls in his conditioning programs. fighters need great balance and dexterity lol. I would know considering i have actually trained with john chaimberg (GSP's old conditioning coach)
how is that useless? it builds upper body strength and requires a crazy amount of stability, both of which are very important in MMA when you're grappling or just striking. just because there isnt a stability ball in the octagon doesn't mean you can't get better at fighting using one.
Rich Franklin=BA Mathmatics, Chuck Lidell=certified accountant...and so on. He has it confused with boxing where you just turn pro and skip College. At any given time the percentage of UFC fighters with College degrees is between 55-70%. Much higher a percentage than the general population.
Love this. He seems like he's really into learning new things and improving himself.

Nothing is useless if your active and determined in everything you do.
I am impressed with his performance.
dude tries to tell him how to do a handstand when he can't hold one as long as GSP, what a twerp
Anyone saying this sort of drill is "useless" for GSP to train needs to maintain top position on someone athletic and larger than them. Being able to roll your body and have dynamic balance really helps. Having strength in all areas of the body helps, too.
look how he's humble and paying attention, that's what's made him learn to be a great fighter.
GSP is great in so many ways for the sport. He also welcomes being humbled in order to learn
GSP seems like such a nice guy! i would be really honored to meet him!
GSP learns that stuff pretty quick. Great balance! It's good to see him recovering well.
He picks up his coins everytime when they drop and put it back in his pocket.
Something tells me he doesnt trust those 2 black gentlemen's sitting there for holding his coins lol.
would you?
gsp is a cool guy he is good for the sport.
JSP, what a nice guy, not shy of anything...

GSP is a real humble guy !
Reminds me of when he wanted to learn Joe Rogan's kicking technique like he wasn't the world champion 🌏🏆 lol. One of the qualities that made him a great champ was he was open to learning new things.
And to think they are doing this shit in JEANS!
Not useless. Good coordination is always good.
he will become champion at this soon
if you look at his latest update on his recovery, you will see that he actually uses this ball to do some training as demonstrated in this video. its very effective. I'm pretty sure he knows whats better for him, more than you do!
You can't get technically better but physically better
GSP is pure class
You can tell this instructor thinks he's such a badass doing these.
Nice GSP! I hope you'll recover quickly!
gsp is batman. always learning new exercise to get better.
"I'm off to a bar. Or to the dojo. Dunno, I'll just wear jeans."
GSP IS BIG!

Dude learn't that instantly? I tried the handstand for 3 weeks and was reduced to a pile of shit on the floor.
its funny how harmless these guys look.. haha
I would watch this man read the dictionary, install a floor, or have a root canal...God I love him!
offense, what, you're, you're.
man that guy can do a lot with the ball (no crazy thinking tho) wow GSP
Watch your knee homie ! WHERE YOU AT !!!
no man, that's hella good for everything.
It strengthens your stabalizing muscles.Which makes you have better overal control of your body.
i love how this guy is showing GSP how to do a handstand right after GSP held a handstand twice as long as this guy lol
So the "teacher" can't do a 100% handstand.
cant believe i watched all that
"What the fuck is that" Nick Diaz."Where you at ball?"
gsp 's having fun :P
GSP TOOK KINE!?!?!?! OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!!!!!
I agree 100%
Indeed.
gsp is prolly the nicest person in the world
those moves are incredibly hard, the teacher cant even do them!
damn george is unflexible in the shoulders
Yeah shoulders are a big problem is most fighting sports. Forrest Griffin for example, his shoulders are reeeaaally bad.

DarkSideDenmark all fighters should do yoga .its helped me immensly
ok NOW he is unbeatable!
great idea
This guy tryin to teach what he hasnt even mastered yet i can tell he can even handstand push up i feel bad for those photographers snappin shots before he fell again thats why your back is very important specially lower back to hold the body up while doing hspu
buon pomeriggio
gsps achilles is looking pretty sturdy
I love how at 5 minutes he tries to show him a handstand and can't even hold one for more than a second. GSP was better than him, and FYI a proper handstand lies in having no shoulder angle, not where you look.
UFC Champ GSP learns how to break his neck.
first lesson learned: take everything out of your pockets.
incredible combo of yoga and gymnastics :D
don't come here saying its useless when you lost 11 fights
GSP WAS IN SWEDEN :OOO
Ball guy: Hey George, i got a ball! Wanna be friends?
GSP: Meh, i do not think so......
Ball guy: I can to 50% tricks on this ball, please come play with me and my ball..... BALL
GSP is gonna snap some shit up mayne!
Thanks you sir, your comment made me realize that this is really dumb to waste watching.
And that's how GSP tore his ACL
GSP did it better than the person that showed him the technique
i wouldnt disagree
Yes yes bad man
and to have fun
Routing for you in UFC 154 GSP.
coordination is specific to skills, since theyre not fighting on a waterbed ,it wont help anyone.I use one to warm up and do some core exercises but i know it doesnt help my coordination or balance.
His knee surgery was months ago. Of course he can do stuff like this already, but full-speed training is a different thing.
It's nice to see no egos here. Nice looking (yet tough) fighter not afraid to try out something new in public. A perfect example that true fighters have nothing to prove ;-)
A flexibility issue, but that goes with the sport with too much bench pressing, boxing, and fighting stances. Cute guys ;-)
I totally agree! That's what i loved about this video. Made me like GSP even more.
Lol funny you say that, I actually went to high school with one of the USA gymnasts, Aly raisman
This must not have been planned. They're all wearing jeans haha
Georges doing handstands in street clothes… ok

Rich Franklin- Teacher

Can't believe I spent 7 minutes watching that, seriously what the hell
add real air to the ball Homy the is like Tom Brady deflagate lol
What took that guy 5years to learn, took GSP 5minutes.
Shocking
There is the next "Man" in the back Francis Carmont sitting down, watch that Dood .. he's going to be Big ! in the UFC
Who????????
the guy is trying to teach GSP how to do it when he can't do it properly himself .
how is that useless? it builds upper body strength and requires a crazy amount of stability, both of which are very important in MMA when you're grappling or just striking. just because there isnt a stability ball in the octagon doesn't mean you can't get better at fighting using one.

This guy should learn from GSP instead of try to teach him. Respect to George though
this is just awkward and I just feel awkward just watching it lol
once they killed a man in his sleep
dude had coins in his pocket. george has strictly cash.
'POP!'
the guys gonna hurt hes knee
that's pretty cool... i'd snap my neck if i tried that though
its called core strength...
Let's show GSP how he can break his arm...
