I’ve been using battery lights for a year, they are handy to have but not great for working in. I bought this light because of you and I have to thank you for it.😊 It is like turning on the sun 😂 I bought a 4 metre e27 extension lead for it so it’s good to go wherever I’m working
@@AlexMorleyPlastering no thank you!!! Like yourself I have the dewalt one. But this baby blows it out of the water!!! It’s like the only fools and horses episode where he paints the kitchen in the Chinese restaurant ☀️ cheers buddy
I bought this after watching your video, it arrived today and oh my god it’s so good! Super bright. Can’t wait to whip it out on the next job! Thank you, cheapest light I’ve ever bought too!!
I am actually feeling your enthusiasm here. I absolutely love plastering but every winter I get reminded how shit it is and how hard it is to find good lights. At that price point as well if you’re talking nonsense I will lob it in the back of the van and forget about it. Looking forward to giving it a go. If it’s as good as it looks I will be sure to spread the word. Now go and have a sit down before you faint from excitement haha.
@@AlexMorleyPlastering I’ve ordered two of the lights, two adapters and also two 4m plug in/pendants because I’m not always domestic so will need a plug in. Honestly I’m buzzing to give them a go. The job I’m on now is fairly big and even with the 15 lights I have it’s gloomy and depressing. Luckily the early Christmas songs are keeping my spirits up haha. I will let you know how they are.
@@AlexMorleyPlastering I’ve been using the two I got last week and I am honestly in love haha!! I’ve been using the yellow leads lights and they were the best lights I had but this blows it out the park and I don’t have to have leads absolutely everywhere. I’ve already told a few people about them!
As soon as I seen this went and bought one straight away they’ve gone up in 6 hours lol .Always a problem this time of year sent you a thank you lol .By the way I only use sandgate sand for rendering. Coming to the end of plastering sometime 64 years .
Great video mate believe or not the job I was doing a month ago for a customer he came in with these exact lights as he had just brought the property so didn’t have any bulbs etc brilliant for plastering 👌🏻
Is there any chance? If you could make a video demonstrating how to create clean and straight borders on the ceiling and walls without adhering to the existing plaster. I have been learning, but my edges are not quite straight. I have a corner trowel, but I typically skim opposite walls at a time. This means that one of the walls is permanently dry, and it just scrapes the fresh plaster off while squaring the wet plaster. @AlexMorleyPlastering
Been looking at these for a few years to put in my garage but always put off cuz they always have a screw fitting - FFS i don't know about adaptors! 20k lumens on the tin, probs half that mind 😂 Bam bam. Nice one Alex🎉
🤔 nice find Alex looks good 👍.. make up a bit of a stand some cable ceiling rose could just stand it in the middle of the room upside down to how it's intended
Just tried the link and it sends you to a different light to what you have in the video? Wonder if they have all sold out and it is now going to the next best ones? I have a faithful illuminator but I can't wait to get my hands on one and give it a go, thanks!
Think you might be right. I just checked. With so many people buying them who watched the video I’m not surprised. They do have a 2 pack available I think. Fingers crossed they are back soon.
I don't know if if trust a customers light fitting to take the weight of that unit, considering the amount of houses where the fitting is screwed into PB.
@@AlexMorleyPlastering no power in house bashing buddy unless you still use a genny. with everything been battery powered now have to charge rubbish battery lights every night

Great shout Alex. I imagine this would be beneficial for everyone doing work indoors in winter, no matter the trade!
I was a plasterer Man and boy from 13-36 and your 100% spot on "always as good as they light"
I thought i was smart with my super bright inspection bulb... this is awesome! Nice one mr morley, thats going straight in my basket
Nice one Kirk. Such a game changer. Just can’t believe no one has spotted these before. God send for domestic work for sure.
I’m feeling that love.. I’m a decorator, bought similar bulbs my self and made my own lights. Cheaper and I can move them around…
Wow! Thanks, Alex.. brought them during watching this video. You are as bright as that light.. a real star! 😊😊
Awesome Wayne. Please come back to the video and let us know how you get on with it.

Nice one Gaz. Hope you like it.
Bought one of these and realised they use 200w. Almost all light fittings are max 150w rated. Would check before plugging into customers lamp holder.

Wow! thanks Alex 👍I'm going to throw away my old strip lights right now!! and get some of these bad boy's 🙂👍🏻👍🏻🍻
Nice. Great shout. I’m still
Buzzing on how good these are.
Your bouncing off the walls with excitement, like a kid that got all they wanted for Christmas, hand delivered by Santa on his sled. X
I think you could be right there Suzi. I was buzzing when I tested it out.
Nice one Alex, just ordered one. What about Edinburgh next May matey?
Wont it get in the way when skimming the ceiling?
No because it’s hanging off the pendant which is usually about 250-300mm down from the ceiling.
Alex could this be wired up to an extension lead easy enough
Not sure. But that would
Defeat the object if it fitting into the light fitting.
You can attach a ceiling to a lead like I did. That works fine.
Is great mate thanks, actually hurts your eyes to look at😂
😂😂😂😂 I know. You need sunglasses when working.

It ways pretty much nothing. I screwed the light through Plasterboard not the timber. With a cable hanging down. Didn’t move a fraction.
What’s the light called

@@AlexMorleyPlastering thanks bud ordered and got my self a 4m plug in pendent as work on sites aswell
Slap me down and call me bam bam😂😂😂
😂😂😂 nice. Thanks for watching the video that far in. 💪
That’s is quality I might just buy a lamp and hang it from the roof from the sparks wires what are they
great idea for domestic work would be ace if we could use this on sites
Just wire the rosette in to a 110v lead. Job done.

Nice one Keith. Don’t forget to get an adapter so you can fix it to

Was literally thinking the same today.
Honestly no major change. Still in care. Very slow progress. But some atleast.
Like you’re on the QVC channel 😂
What’s the qvc channel?
That channel where they sell stuff and have to act really enthusiastic. I’m gonna check it out. Be great for winter domestic jobs
@@Seanmufc89😂😂😂 I love that. Only difference I’m pretty honest on my reviews. If it’s toilet I say as much.
£7 on Ali express
Nice. Never ordered off that site. If it’s the same that’s even better.
Whats the light called ffs
The link is in the description. But I think that it’s out of stock at the moment.

True I’ve just brought a 4m plug in lamp but yes a agree with site work
