In the latest clip, Adam22 spoke on the recent death of MF Doom. The No Jumper host praised the late rapper for his inventive style and his ability to maintain his persona. This led to DJ Vlad explaining the history behind MF Doom and what led to the creation of the persona after previously being known as Zev Love X from rap group, KMD. You missed a lot . Sub roc was DOOMs keeper , his brother , his best friend his partner. Sub roc wasn't just playing in traffic for fun, his car broke down and he was trying to get help and got hit when he tried to cross the road. He didn't wear the mask just to be like Dr doom . He wore it to speak on the state of hip hop and music , and how it's impossible to listen to a musician without seeing what they wear, what they look like. What they smoke or drink , what they drive. The mask is a symbol of keeping of a facade so that the music is judged as it should be.....by how the music makes you feel. Not what the labels are tryna sell you . Love you vlad but do your research before you speak on a dead man

See this is why I hate some of Vlad tv interviews. Not all but “SOME”. You got 2 guys talking about the passing of MF DOOM, which is understandable. But then go into detail about a person they both no nothing about and try and tell his story. If your gonna do that you need someone who really knew DOOM and can verify what your talking about. And if you can’t get those type of people that were close to him you need not to mention his personal life until you get the facts.

i just stumbled upon the news of his passing today. i didn't believe it at first because i didn't hear anyone talking about it. i won't front, i am not that familiar with his music aside from his collab with madlib (i have madvillainy) and maybe a few tracks off his debut album, but his name was always there as one of the greatest lyricists when i was exploring underground hip hop like 15 years ago.
edit: turns out my first exposure to mf doom was a song with slug and aesop rock in a videogame which is most likely how i got into madvillain.
