    great review.
    I just got mine.
    I was wondering what the best way and what cables to use to record old tapes and records to lap top from this thing would be?
    thanks

    If I preferred my guitar pedalboard/ amp head/ cab sound better than just plugging my guitar directly in, could I mic my cab and use the microphone interface? Instead of the guitar input interface?

      Charles Ayala yes just put your mic next to your guitar cab and plug the mic into the interface (really late reply but tryna help)

    hey mike, quick question: did i buy the right product? i recently upgraded from the apogee one interface to the scarlet solo, mainly because while i was recording with the the Apogee i had to change the preferences everytime i wanted to switch between headphones and speakers, and it slowed down my workflow tremendously. so i picked up the scarlett solo thinking it would simplify the process, but right now the audio is playing through my monitor speakers and the headphones simultaneously, is there a way to rapidly toggle between the two without killing the power on the speakers everytime? im just trying to hear the music through my headphones and record vocals, without speaker sound, and then playback on the speakers soon as im done. is this possible? thanks for your help, i cant seem to figure it out

    I'm actually confused on how this thing can give 48 V phantom power even though it is only connected using usb. How does that work, please tell me if I'm missing something 🙏🙏🙏

      I'm pretty sure you can, i think there is an input on the back ;)

      JEFFMAN90 You can plug it in to the front, all you need is a 3.5mm to 1/4" adapter

      I think it would be better to buy a better quality pair of speakers because sound is everything and expensive speakers and normal speakers will sound different

    Hi Mike. So these device is one of the best on the market on a ¨budget¨ all is connected to the mac, so headphones and mic is directed connected there! right? I am doing the research since I am doing most content creation for my market. Odd. Some I can get here like Rodes.

    should I get the focusrite scarlett with the audio technica at2020

    • @92OnTV
      @92OnTV 7 років тому

      yes, but better if you get at2035 than at 2020

    • @Borsac
      @Borsac 7 років тому

      92OnTV what's the difference if I may ask?

    • @92OnTV
      @92OnTV 7 років тому

      at2035 have larger diaphragm 24mm vs 16mm, lower self noise 12db vs 20db, also 2035 have better base response plus it has -10db pad and high pass filter at 80hz

    • @Borsac
      @Borsac 7 років тому

      what does lower self noise mean? and as well what is the price difference?

    • @92OnTV
      @92OnTV 7 років тому

      Self noise is the noise level that mic generates by itself. If it high you can hear it even in soundless room. For example until mid-range price level (200-250$) Rode mics have lowest self noise level around 5.0db, I have Se X1 which has 16db self noise, successor of X1 X1S have 9db self noise. AT2020 have 20db self noise, at AT2035 12db and etc.
