Fantastic drive mate. I nearly spat out my drink at 1:10 when I saw that blue Pontiac G8! It's one of the very few, if not only, Aussie built vehicles ever sold in the States (AFAIK the facelifted model was sold as the Chevy SS). It's known as the Holden Commodore here down under and is basically a national symbol, shame production has ended though. Great video, Michigan's expressways are very impressive.

What do you think of the plan to turn I-375 into a typical Michigan boulevard into downtown?
Yeah I probably should've been braking a little bit earlier... sorry about that!
In regards to I-375, I'm excited to see the removal of the freeway but I'm also a bit sad since I'm one of the users which use it as a quick and easy way to access downtown Detroit (coming from the eastern suburbs). I truly hope the project promotes more downtown development and frees the current downtown area from being boxed in with freeways. Thanks for the comment!
Good choice with the song. Do you think they'll ever convert the eastern segment of M-59 to a freeway. The right of way certainly seems wide enough.
Thank you! It's always been my dream to see the freeway get extended through the unusually wide median just further east to I-94, but I can't see that happening with that being the city's/county's biggest business district and the "nice part of town."
