I believe every top player has a corresponding player or two on the tour that has his game figured out and for Shorbagy Sr., its Elias and Ashour. Elias may not fair as well against some others on tour but he reads and handles Shorbagy's game very well. Note those ultra wide cross courts that hit the side wall before the floor from Elias - those just break apart Shorbagy's attack.

Honestly even though Elias played amazing I still think he was dealing with some kind of pain or something I feel like if he’s healthy and not in pain Elias will be on the top.

You think he becomes a beast because he goes for every ball? My conclusion on his beast mode is different. I think he subtly starts to block using his body. In fact I don't even like watching him because of this. It's not clean squash. However, I still watch in the hopes that I am wrong.
For instance at 8-10 Elias should have won. The ball bounced out but he couldn't hit through ElShorbagy and the refs called it in the exact opposite way that it should have been called. All because ElShorbagy blocks crucial points with his body.
@@CheapHomeTech look more like eilas was going foe the men instead of the ball hence the no let call. You say they block but at the top level. Everyone blocks to a certain extent
@@Strik3Fr33dom2 Possibly but I did not see it that way. It's more possible I just look for this whenever I see the beast play. I might see it in others if I were looking for it. These guys are at such an incredibly different level I don't feel comfortable. I'm at best a big mouth. So just take it as an opinion and not fact.
@@CheapHomeTech u know yourself are in different level compare to any psa players. then u should know that their level of gameplay is super fast. may u look at a different view where shorbagy is not trying to block, is just that elias or whoever plays agaisnt shorbagy needs to be super quick on getting the ball. also, shorbagy was called the beast because of his fast paste hitting. u should try play with a psa player and try it out how hard they hit, or else u would never understand what i said.
@@edz1228 I would not be able to get a single point off a top 100 PSA player. It would be like trying to speak another language I had never heard before. Still it doesn't mean I can't see what is happening...
El shorbagy was zero focus and many down balls for nothing 🙁
