She has the proper skill of a teacher and imagine she’s doing it for free 😭😭 imagine the effort of filming yourself and editing and putting words pop out of the screen. There’s a lot of things behind our eyes but she does it very well, again for free. Thank you so much, Madame Alexa. ❤️❤️

Well I've only just started Lesson 3 (Les jours de la semaine) and I've already decided that you're a brilliant teacher and the "Learn French with Alexa" is a brilliantly produced and invaluable resource. I think that the French, Belgium and Swiss governments (and possibly others, e.g. Monanco, Lichtenstein etc) should grant you an award and assist you by funding the promulgation of the French language and culture in the beautiful manner in which you do it. Being intersted in etymology, I love the way you connect French words with English words - something I've also tried to do myself, as a learning and memory aid. In that respect, the beauty of English is that, while it's a West Germanic language, it's absorbed a massive amount of romantic words, predominantly from French, thanks to the long, interwoven history, stretching back at least 1000 years! I've actually known the days of the week in French for about 54 years, but I got a shock when it suddenly struck me while watching your Lesson 3 that the suffix "di" (at the end of each French day of the week except for Dimanche) resembles the English "day" quite closely, whereas "jour" is a totally different, seemingly alien word. Wanting to know the origin of this, I googled in English, but got nowhere. However, switching to French (with the help of Google translate), searching on the terms "les jours de la semaine suffixe di etymologie" quickly revealed that "di" derives from the Latin "dies", meaning day (and for which we have the lovely word "diurnal" in English). Day in turn derives from the Germanic (dag, tag etc). Although I haven't researched it, I suspect that day, dag, tag, dies etcetera all derive from a common Indo-European stem. Well I learned a bit more than I bargained for from Lesson 3! Many thanks Alexa
I was here on UA-cam searching the best teacher of French I can learn from and to be honest you are my favorite. I think my French-speaking is going to improve positively 😃 Thank you so much Alexa ❤

I visited Paris last month and plan to visit again in the future. I started watching your videos literally for 3 days going on to 4 and have rewatched the videos just to soak in all of the information. I am very amazed at how easy you teach French and how practical you make it for one to learn. Knowing English does give me an edge since French has influenced English a great deal besides Latin and also knowing Spanish is helping comprehend French sentence structure. Although, I must admit French has a lot of innovations that the other Romance languages do not possess which is what makes this language amazing. I will continue to push on and master this amazing language. -Merci beaucoup, pour la leçon!

Good video! My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense.
