When he said that believers are willing to put their souls in the hands of their church leaders was possibly the most eye opening part of the message for me. This was telling, as there is no passage of scripture that says we are to follow after or sit under any religious or spiritual leader to be taught of God, which proves that Christian church leaders are not preaching the truth on what the church; according to scripture truly is and means, and it doesn’t mean their congregation, or their denomination, or their building, or their ministry. There is no mention of church leaders and/or church members in the Bible so all who do these things are guilty of the very same thing they are calling others out on… Lordship.
I assume that you are a believer in Christ. But I would feel that I have not done my job as a christian not to inform you that the scripture planly and exactly tells the preacher to preacher the word to the people and to reprove , rebuke and exhort with all long suffering. It says that time will come when the people will not indure sound doctrine . The problem is not the authority of the preacher to preacher and rightly devied the word of God for and to the people ,but it is the lack of desire of people to submit to God's authority over their lives which is given through His word. Preachers lack of preaching in today's society, and church is simply a reflection of what God's word says it will be like in the last days before His coming. It sasy " They shall heave to themselves teachers having itching ears, and they will rather believe a lie rather than the truth." People want what they want today, and that means if listening to someone who has been appointed by God tell them that they need to make changes in their lives , they don't want it. The scriptures tell us to preach the gospel in season and out of season and to not Lord over one another; being masters, fathers, teachers. Every preacher that is the head of a congregation is guilty of this and just because they expose a sin and preach a truth against another preacher or preachers, does not mean that the beam has not been removed from their own eye, for they too are guilty of doing the same. We must decrease, so that the Word; Jesus increase. But, it behooves me that pastors lord *over* God’s people seeming to be always in season and never out of season, they never decrease but instead they continue to sit in Moses’s seat. Where in scripture does *any* Apostle and/or disciple do these things? Not even Peter or Paul spoke of themselves as being the head of a congregation and as a matter of fact, Paul rebuked those converted disciples that did.
Okay, it is wrong for pastors to over step their boundaries as ministers of the word to the congregation and missuse people's faith and respect in them to pleasure their fleshly desires. But I believe when it comes to those called to pastor God's word, it gives us examples of what they are supposed to do in service and attitude to their assigned congregation. And every pastor is not the same. Examples are those of The Apostel Paul who called the members of the church that the Holy Sprit birth through him. " My little children. " pastering is not just giving people the word of God collecting an offering and going home. I Paul told Timothy to take the oversight of the congregation which he had been appointed to. My problem is when you refere to all the pastors in a none biblical negative sense. Where in scripture does *any* Apostle and/or disciple do these things? Not even Peter or Paul spoke of themselves as being the head of a congregation and as a matter of fact, Paul rebuked those converted disciples that did.
Okay, it is wrong for pastors to over step their boundaries as ministers of the word to the congregation and missuse people's faith and respect in them to pleasure their fleshly desires. But I believe when it comes to those called to pastor God's word, it gives us examples of what they are supposed to do in service and attitude to their assigned congregation. And every pastor is not the same. Examples are those of The Apostel Paul who called the members of the church that the Holy Sprit birth through him. " My little children. " pastering is not just giving people the word of God collecting an offering and going home. I Paul told Timothy to take the oversight of the congregation which he had been appointed to. My problem is when you refere to all the pastors in a none biblical negative sense. When pastors try to stand up for what is biblical and right even to standing up to other pastors that are evidently out of order, they are still criticized. WHAT DO YALL WANT ? LOVE YOU IN JESUS NAME

Amen. The ones called, truly called by Yahweh are held to a higher standard. That's why the Most High incinerated Aaron's two sons for strange fire, and then Aaron and Moshe died did not cross the Jordan into the Promised Land because of disobedience. Repent and preach the Word in season and out. The Day of the Lord is here the first waves of judgement are sweeping through His houses of prayer.
