I rarely write comments, but in this case I want to express my admiration for this album. From beginning to end, this is real rock, heavy, aggressive and at the same time emotional and melodic. The musicians' playing is just great. Thanks to Linkin Park for the cool music.
The drumming on this record is fucking awesome. Love it.
People are not real fans if they can't understand that a band needs to evolve. I love all of Linkin Park's albums and they are my favorite band because they evolved and didn't stick to one style. Every song is not the same! They created their own genre as well. My generation needs bands like these. Rock is dying. Imo, Linkin Park was the last great rock band. Nothing will ever be even close to them. I'm so glad my friend introduced me to them, they have helped me through some tough times recently. RIP Chester.
Amen. I totally agree! They're probably a top 3 for me. This is probably my 2nd fav album of theirs really
I agree, but Living Things is still so bad lol
We now have periphery and starset
Oh and LP "technically" did not actually "create" nu metal, and in addition once again, Linkin Park did not "really" create a genre because Linkin Park has never been a part of any (particular) genre as a band besides just "metal" (or "experimental" maybe, but then again even that is only sometimes), except for "hip hop" before Mark Wakefield joined Xero. And that is the only "single" genre that "as a band overall" has EVER been a part of. If Linkin Park did "create" nu metal (which, really, they did, since Korn isn't really nu metal exactly and Limp Bizkit wasn't actually like that either; some would say that at the time they weren't even actually a band but I disagree, the radio songs are still fun to listen to), it wasn't "Linkin Park" that created that genre, it was "record label execs who obviously decided to make Linkin Park water down all of their songs as well as putting only one particular and very specific type of song on HT album, the particular type of song that was the same after it was watered down. If Linkin Park had been able to put the ACTUAL songs on the CD, regardless if whether or not they included more variety... Well actually, Forgotten was included, and that song alone would already be "more variety" alone if the real song was included. If they had been able to release a studio album if "true Linkin Park" songs, would they still be eventually changed to "creating a genre", or would they have stayed as "The genre of Linkin Park is Linkin Park" forever? Well, they kind of did stay that forever, but because they eventually reverted back to that, rather then because they were always continuously called that. Regardless of what songs are put on studio albums and how execs made them not show off the band as much, they might have still "basically created" nu metal, but they never would have been referred to as a "nu metal" band, unless they didn't include any other "fairly straight-genre songs" on albums and the articles calling them "nu metal" always included additional caveats such as "nu metal with the addition of this as well as this other difference and this other difference and these several songs".
@@destructo3457 Very subjective. It's in my top 3 😎
Grossly underappreciated album. I struggle to comprehend why.
One of the reasons is shitty quality on official UA-cam audios. You can hear it clearly in Mark the Graves and A Line in the Sand when heavy parts come in. Bizarre.
Interesting how Linkin park really challenged themselves to evolve their sound even if majority wanted a third album to complete the trilogy in a way but again (after watching the making of minutes to midnight) I can see why they shifted to a different style. That takes guts for them to do that and I salute them for that
1. Keys to the Kingdom
[Chester Bennington:]
No control! No surprise!
Tossed the keys to the kingdom down that hole in my eye
I'm my own casualty!
I fuck up everything I see, fighting in futility!
[Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington:]
We start the final war
Tell me what's worth fighting for
When we know there's nothing more
Take the hand or fist
Just to sell ourselves for this
The path we least resist
[Chester Bennington:]
No control! No surprise!
Tossed the keys to the kingdom down that hole in my eye
I'm my own casualty!
I fuck up everything I see, fighting in futility!
[Mike Shinoda:]
Uh, I give you what you came for
This is not the same though
Got a different method
But I still can bring the pain so
Y'all get that same flow
I got that insane flow
High as y'all can get
You're never really in my range, though
Yes, I'm half Anglo
Half fried Panko
All prime-time
I'mma let the bass bang low
All you fucking lames go
Aiming at my name, know
Careful what you shoot because you might hit what you aim for
(Careful what you shoot because you might hit what you aim for)
[Chester Bennington:]
No control! No surprise!
Tossed the keys to the kingdom down that hole in my eye
I'm my own casualty!
I fuck up everything I see, fighting in futility
[Instrumental break]
[Chester Bennington:]
No control! No surprise!
Tossed the keys to the kingdom down that hole in my eye
I'm my own casualty! [2x]
[Kid:]
I'm not allowed to say certain things, ah!
[Mike Shinoda:]
Try and do...
Try and do the other thing... real quick.
2. All for Nothing (feat. Page Hamilton)
Yeah
Uh
[Mike Shinoda:]
So what you waiting for?
Anticipating more
While you debate what it can take to instigate a war?
Yeah, I've been hated more than time I wasn't hated for
There's nothing they can fucking say they didn't say before
But you could never see it
Your battle's not mine
Wanna skate and play it safe but this is take a shot time
While you're waiting for a purpose I already got mine
While you tell me step to it like 1, 2, 3, 4
[Page Hamilton (Chester Bennington):]
And if I do what you demand
(You say)
You'll let me understand
(You say)
You're gonna hold me to your word
And if I sell myself away
(You say)
I'll have no debt to pay
(You say)
I'm gonna get what I deserve
Whoa
Your word
Obeyed
My debt
Repaid
Our trust
Betrayed
All for nothing
All for nothing
[Mike Shinoda:]
Kick back there's no other way to say it
So let me break this fucker down for ya
I really don't know ya
You talk but let me show ya where to put your paranoia
You're joking, I don't have a half a sucker bone to throw ya
I'm disgusted, wonder what could've made ya tuck your tail below ya
And no I'm not your soldier I'm not taking any orders
I'm a five star general, infantry controller
Need a lesson? Let me show ya
Have you checking your composure
While I make you step to it like 1, 2, 3, 4
[Page Hamilton (Chester Bennington):]
And if I do what you demand
(You say)
You'll let me understand
(You say)
You're gonna hold me to your word
And if I sell myself away
(You say)
I'll have no debt to pay
(You say)
I'm gonna get what I deserve
Whoa
And if I do what you demand
You'll let me understand
Your word
Obeyed
My debt
Repaid
Our trust
Betrayed
All for nothing
All for nothing
All for nothing
Oh oh oh oh
[Mike:] Maybe we're too far
[Brad:] I don't think we're too far
[Mike:] Really?
[Brad:] That's a good verse. Put the heavy shit there
[Mike:] The heavy shit? Right here?
3. Guilty all the Same (feat. Rakim)
Tell us all again
What you think we should be
What the answers are
What it is we can't see
Tell us all again
How to do what you say
How to fall in line
How there's no other way
But oh, we all know
You're guilty all the same
Too sick to be ashamed
You want to point your finger
But there's no one else to blame
You're guilty all the same
Too sick to be ashamed
You want to point your finger
But there's no one else to blame
You're guilty all the same
Show us all again
That our hands are unclean
That we're unprepared
That you have what we need
Show us all again
'Cause we cannot be saved
'Cause the end is near
Now there's no other way
And oh, you will know
You're guilty all the same
Too sick to be ashamed
You want to point your finger
But there's no one else to blame
You're guilty all the same
Too sick to be ashamed
You want to point your finger
But there's no one else to blame
There's no one else to blame
Guilty all the same
Guilty all the same
You're guilty all the same
[Rakim:]
Yeah, you already know what it is
Can y'all explain what kind of land is this when a man has plans of being rich
But the bosses plans is wealthy?
Dirty money scheme, a clean split is nonsense
It's insane
Even corporate hands is filthy
They talk team and take the paper route
All they think about is bank accounts, assets and realty
At anybody's expense,
No shame with a clear conscience
No regrets and guilt free,
They claim that ain't the way that they built me
The smoke screen before the flame
Knowing as soon as the dough or the deal peak
They say it's time for things to change
Re-arrange like good product re-built cheap
Anything if it's more to gain
Drained, manipulated like artists, it's real deep
Until no more remains, but I'm still me
Like authentic hip-hop and rock,
'Til pop and radio and record companies killed me
Try to force me to stray and obey
And got the gall to say how real can real be
You feel me, we'll see that green could be to blame
Or greedy for the fame,
TV or a name
The media, the game,
To me you're all the same
You're guilty
You're guilty all the same
Too sick to be ashamed
You want to point your finger
But there's no one else to blame
You're guilty all the same
Too sick to be ashamed
You want to point your finger
But there's no one else to blame
There's no one else to blame
Guilty all the same
Guilty all the same
Guilty all the same
4. The Summoning
(Instrumental)
5. War
One, two, one, two, thank you!
There's no peace
Only war
Victory decides who's wrong or right
It will not cease
Only grow
You better be prepared to fight!
And it will not apologize
For laying down your life
War
There's no pain
It will spare
Fear has become your only right
And once you're lost
In your despair
Forever black, eternal night
And it will not apologize
For laying down your life
War
Destroyer
War
Destroyer
It needs no side to justify
Laying down your life
War
Destroyer
War
6. Wastelands
[Mike Shinoda:]
This is war with no weapons,
Marching with no stepping,
Murder with no killing,
Illing every direction.
First, no sequel,
Do the math, no equal
John with no Yoko
More power, less people
And no I'm not afraid of that
Print it in your paperback
Every rap is made in fact
To act as a delayed attack
Every phrase a razor blade
That's saved until they play it back
To slay and leave 'em laying on the pavement
Bang
Fade to black
[Chester Bennington:]
In the wastelands of today,
When there's nothing left to lose,
And there's nothing more to take,
But you force yourself to choose,
In the wastelands of today,
When tomorrow disappears
When the future slips away,
And your hope turns into fear,
In the wastelands of today
[Mike Shinoda:]
Roll credits, to get it,
The show's done,
They're talking for just talking,
But meaning they got none,
None of 'em come proper,
They talk like a shotgun,
But how many got bred with integrity,
Not one
So no, I'm not afraid to see these suckers hold a blade to me,
Ain't a way to shake the ground I built before you came to be,
Take it how you take it, I'm the opposite of vacancy,
And this is not negotiation, y'all can hate and wait and see...
[Chester Bennington:]
In the wastelands of today,
When there's nothing left to lose,
And there's nothing more to take,
But you force yourself to choose,
In the wastelands of today,
When tomorrow disappears
When the future slips away,
And your hope turns into fear,
And your hope turns into fear,
In the wastelands of today!
In the wastelands of today,
When there's nothing left to lose,
And there's nothing more to take,
But you force yourself to choose,
In the wastelands of today,
When tomorrow disappears
When the future slips away,
And your hope turns into fear,
And your hope turns into fear,
In the wastelands of today!
In the wastelands of today!
In the wastelands of today!
7. Until it's Gone
A fire needs a space to burn
A breath to build a glow
I've heard it said a thousand times
But now I know
That you don't know what you've got
Oh you don't know what you've got
No you don't know what you've got
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
I thought I kept you safe and sound
I thought I made you strong
But something made me realize
That I was wrong
'Cause finding what you got sometimes
Means finding it alone
And I can finally see your light
When I let go
'Cause you don't know what you've got
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
Until it's gone
'Cause you don't know what you've got
Oh you don't know what you've got
No you don't know what you've got
It's your battle to be fought
No you don't know what you've got
'Til it's gone
'Til it's gone
'Til it's gone
8. Rebellion (feat. Daron Malakian)
[Mike Shinoda:]
I've seen the blood
I've seen the broken
The lost and the sights unseen
I want a flood
I want an ocean
To wash my confusion clean
I can't resolve this empty story
I can't repair the damage done
[Chester Bennington:]
We are the fortunate ones
Who've never faced oppression's gun
We are the fortunate ones
Imitations of rebellion
[Mike Shinoda:]
We acted out
We wear the colors
Confined by the things we own
We're not without
We're like each other
Pretending we're here alone
And far away, they burn their buildings
Right in the face of the damage done
[Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda:]
We are the fortunate ones
Who've never faced oppression's gun
We are the fortunate ones
Imitations of rebellion
Rebellion, rebellion, rebellion
[Chester Bennington:]
Rebellion, rebellion
We lost before the start
Rebellion, rebellion
One by one we fall apart
We fall apart
We fall apart
We fall apart
[Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda:]
We are the fortunate ones
Who've never faced oppression's gun
We are the fortunate ones
Imitations of
Imitations of...
We are the fortunate ones
Who've never faced oppression's gun
We are the fortunate ones
Imitations of rebellion
Rebellion, rebellion, rebellion
9. Mark the Graves
There's a fragile game we play
With the ghosts of yesterday
If we can't let go, we'll never say goodbye
No trace of what remains
No stones to mark the graves
Only memories we thought we could deny
There was so much more to lose
Than the pain I put you through
In my carelessness I left you in the dark
And the blood may wash away
But the scars will never fade
At least I know somehow I made a mark
In the dark
In the light
Nothing left
Nothing right
In the dark
In the light
Nothing left
Nothing right
In the dark
In the light
Nothing left
Nothing right
In the dark
In the light
Nothing left
Nothing right
10. Drawbar
(Instrumental)
11. Final Masquerade
Tearing me apart with words you wouldn't say,
And suddenly tomorrow's moment washed away.
'Cause I don't have a reason, and you don't have the time,
But we both keep on waiting for something we won't find.
The light on the horizon was brighter yesterday,
With shadows floating over, the scars began to fade.
We said it was forever but then it slipped away,
Standing at the end of the final masquerade.
The final masquerade!
All I ever wanted, the secrets that you keep,
All you've ever wanted, the truth I couldn't speak.
'Cause I can't see forgiveness, and you can't see the crime,
And we both keep on waiting for what we left behind.
The light on the horizon was brighter yesterday,
With shadows floating over, the scars began to fade.
We said it was forever but then it slipped away,
Standing at the end of the final masquerade.
The final masquerade!
The final masquerade!
Standing at the end of the final masquerade!
The light on the horizon was brighter yesterday,
With shadows floating over, the scars began to fade.
We said it was forever but then it slipped away,
Standing at the end of the final masquerade.
Standing at the end of the final masquerade!
Standing at the end of the final masquerade!
The final masquerade!
12. A Line in the Sand
[Mike Shinoda:]
Today
We stood on the wall
We laughed at the sun
We laughed at the guns
We laughed at it all
And when they
They told us to go
We paid them no mind
Like every other time
But little did we know
[Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington:]
Today
I looked for a sign
With flames in my hands
A line in the sand
Between yours and mine
And it came
Like fire from below
Your greed led the call
My flag had to fall
But little did you know
[Chester Bennington:]
Another day
Your truth will come
You're gonna pay for what you've-
Pay for what you've done
You'll get what's yours
And face your crime
You'll tell them give me back what's mine
Give me back what's mine
[Mike Shinoda:]
I had never been a coward
I had never seen blood
You had sold me an ocean
And I was lost in the flood
We were counting on a leader
We were driven by need
But couldn't take temptation
And we were blinded by greed
You were steady as a sniper
We were waiting on a wire
So we never saw it coming
When you ran from the fire
You can try intimidation
And you can try to ignore
But when the time comes calling, yeah
You are gonna get yours
[Chester Bennington:]
Another day
Your truth will come
You're gonna pay for what you've-
Pay for what you've done
You'll get what's yours
And face your crime
You'll tell them give me back what's mine
Give me back what's mine
And so today
Your truth has come
You're gonna pay for what you've-
Pay for what you've done
You'll get what's yours
You're out of time
And you will give me back what's mine
Give me back what's mine
Give me
Give me back what's mine
Give me
Give me back what's mine
What's mine
Give me
Give me back what's mine
What's mine
What's mine
Give me back what's mine
[Mike Shinoda:]
Today we stood on the wall
We laughed at the sun
We laughed at the guns
We laughed at it all
And when they
They told us to go
We paid them no mind
Like every other time
But little did we know
Thanks man

This is my first time hearing this album, and it’s the most metal Linkin Park I’ve heard. I love it
One thing I find interesting about The Hunting Party is that it doesn't have those melodic vibes of the songs on the previous albums, it's more intense and heavier, which I don't think is a bad thing honestly.
So much energy in this one ⚡⚡⚡
"The Hunting Party" 🏹🐗
Never gets old ⏳

I listened to all their albums
people who gave likes always repeat several times, just like me

@@WFly101 Why, the complete and utter destruction of the galactic agrupation known as the Local Group on its entirety, encompassing the Milky Way and by extension us, of course.
MTM, ATS, and this album were all trying to warn us. They got huge with HT and then used the momentum to put out something with a message for all of us. Shame most people don’t listen/ understand the lyrics and what they pertain to. I believe Chester knew his days were limited (not because of his depression) and what really goes on in holly-weird. There is a lot more to the story than what we know.
This album is so fucking masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey thanks soldier for the play list! Most awesome of u 🙃💯💓
Love this album 😍😍
Drawbar has FFXV vibes it's stunning. Same chords as Yoko Shimomura's.
Álbum number one the band! Top...the best in the world!
I avoided this album until I felt I'd need to hear it. I'm currently at a spot where I think I did need it, and I think I get why people like this, even if I have problems with it. I like the goofy transitions cause that's 100% my thing, and I really like some of the infectious melodies here (I.E. the chorus of Rebellion) but also some of the vocals sound incredibly awkward on first listen as well as the production occasionally just not hitting. Also, it's kind of odd how sometimes this album falls right back into sounding like A Thousand Suns and Living Things in brief moments. For example, Mark the Graves sounds suspiciously similar to Blackout from ATS in various spots, as well as Until It's Gone having a striking resemblance to Burning in the Skies. I'll give this album the fact that the pianos and drums are of the best sound LP has had thus far, though. Older piano parts in LP songs, like Burning in the Skies, had a weird pop-out quality to them that isn't present here, and on HT and Meteora especially, the drums were produced in that obvious electronic sounding way. Of course this is all torn down by Final Masquerade, which has that obnoxious drum production to it that pushes it WAY to the top. Damn it, old habits die hard, don't they? I like that the songs here feature some really genuine lyrics about subject matter that seemed close to them, although this might be the first time I found some kind of obnoxious qualities to Chester and Mike, sadly. The features here really make some of these songs. I love the vocals of Page Hamilton on All for Nothing. Also ffs A Line in the Sand is like a better VICTIMIZED with less favorable vocals.
Overall, on first listen, likeable album. But, generally a bit odd in between LIVING THINGS and One More Light. It's more like if ATS was less sad and more Ready to Kick Ass.
Interesting analysis. Do you think it would be better if placed between ATS and LT?!
@@shriharisaravanan3401 Probably. I'm not sure though. Since writing my opinions changed a little, but it's still hard to figure out where this album would even go. They never made much else that sounded quite like this.

Great album that just got better and better, honestly not a big fan of the first song but after that it was awesome!
Mais um álbum impecável da melhor banda do mundo ❤
This album is very underrated.
First time listen to this album and... wow, great record. I could even said that become one of the favorite LP's album. Awesome guitars and drums parts. Sadly that's the last one, a huge regret! I would really enjoy next album in this style.
They can't make new music
Their last album, One More Light came after this one
@@mulletmustard but it's not rock
....No it's not; the last album is on more light, and the most recent "officially released" Linkin Park song are the dozens and dozens that they up on LP UA-cam channel, and then of course there is the posthumous remixed Gray Daze albums using Chester's recordings, but the original Gray Daza/Chester albums were not good; apparently post-grunge is the only style of music that Chester is not good at. So I don't know whether the "fake" CD will be worth it or not, but the actual Gray Daze vocalist talks a lot about how important it is to him to get the mixes right and to get the "right person" for the filler vocals, so there is in fact a chance that these new releases will be better then Chester's actual time with Gray Daze.
@@Rayvn7 They don't count cuz they're not LP.

Fans: After Meteora Linkin Park was never the same again.
The Hunting Party: Am I a joke to you?
is it just me or did they make this album to calm down people who were mad they didnt make the same type of music anymore?lol
.....Oh my gods. Besides MtM slow songs, which is ONLY "new" because previous slow songs were a different genre or slow songs and NOT because the bum included slow songs in general. Besides that, name literally one single Linkin Park (main lineup) song that was "different from their previous sound" enough for anyone to have a complaint about. Since such a thing literally DOES NOT EXIST, you CAN'T. It's OBVIOUS that they didn't make this album in order to "appease people who wanted them to go back to a prior sound", because THERE IS NOTHING THEY'VE EVER DONE THAT DOES NOT FIT THEIR ORIGINAL SOUND AND STYLE, except for maybe allowing the execs to mess with their songs on the first couple of studio albums, reducing the masterful inclusion of Joe's sounds, ending the singing parts of the other three band members (one of the members can't sing), etc.!!! In other words, all done before you have ever even heard of the band, except for reducing non-Chester non-Mike singing parts which no one would notice enough to pretend is "a different sound" after it happens!

Their last good album
So basically... Chester is the only who stayed in metal mode on this record?
Was this a side project? Cause I always thought it like LP underground stuff but not part of their official records.
nope, it's a proper studio album, their full discography is:
Hybrid Theory 2000
Meteora 2003
Minutes to Midnight 2007
A Thousand Suns 2010
Living Things 2012
The Hunting Party 2014
One More Light 2017

this album is good, and it is based on hybrid theory problem is people don't effing care because it ain't hybrid theory because it is not what the fans want, like move on, hybrid theory did not shape this band it was the band who adapted and tried new things, so people need to shut up and move on. R.I.P. Chester
you couldnt be more wrong ..
This album is great but hybrid theory and meteora literally put them on the map and has the most record sales of any LP album so it did shape them. This album doesn't have the classic melodic sound most fans are used to but they are the ones missing out 👍
The hunting party is heavier than Hybrid theory
i am so pissed at myself atm this is the first time i have heard any other song on this album other than Final Masquerade i mean i only am 13 BUT STILLLLL
oh wait i know guilty all the same i guess i never knew my dad listend to that one LMAO
@@yungbludlover7887 no worries, l am 53 and am enjoying this album sat in the blazing sun here in the UK. You have great taste and a lifetime ahead of listening to Linkin Park, enjoy!!!

I search and search and search using the search terms of things like "Joe Hahn singing" etc. It's obvious that they all can sing because the 6-member band is a thing that we can all tell just by listening on HT album, as well as in many demos, and all members can sing except for one. I know that Brad is the best at it out of the "others", and he is the only one who ever gets any search results. Obviously Joe gets the results of his instrumentals, "called attention to" live stuff, or songs where he has like "DJ solos". I can't even remember which one single member CAN'T sing; maybe it was Phoenix.
But yet here Song #2 pops up with an alternate singer... Sounding just like Ozzy. So who is the vocalist on All For Nothing?! I'm sorry if I can't tell solely by listening, that's because they never tell you even on the songs where Mike is singing a bunch of people are still saying "Chester sounded like X here" in the comments; that's how NON-responsive LP has been as to who wrote and who sings what parts in songs! Even that guy who does the lyrics videos of Linkin Park Demos and of Hollywood Undead studio, puts their names up and even that guy puts the wrong name sometimes just between Cheater and Mike!
I'm also glad to know that Chester presumably can't do straight death vocals (although that's kind of odd since he is constantly screaming his vocals anyway), and to notice in the second listen that Joe changed that to make it "death metal" in that section. That means that I won't come across any other death-metal-type songs on the other unpromoted album or in other Chester bands. Yay.
Including that conversation at the end of All for Nothing was really weird, and wrong. It doesn't fit at all.
This album had 4 artists that collaborated with Linkin Park, they are: Page Hamilton, vocals and guitar in "All for Nothing", Rakim, vocals in "Guilty All The Same", Daron Malakian, guitar in "Rebellion" and Tom Morello, guitar in "Drawbar", they are all credited in the record
Phoenix sings in lost in the echo, I think Rob can't sing
Sounds like Samurai(refused) from Cyberpunk
hello 2023
I used to think people who upload full albums in one video are pointless/dumb, or rather I was correct about that and people who do so used to indeed be pointless/dumb. And then UA-cam starting killing us by putting ads in the middle of words and also having an ad at the beginning of musical videos and also even taking 5+ seconds to load the ad at times. Now it's like IMPORTANT to have the full album, and this is a Linkin Park album so you literally can't listen with any kind of pause, since pauses are not something Linkin Park includes in albums! (At least not studio albums and demo albums.)
....But then as I say that, this album changes from song one to song two, and includes a pause, so I guess they put a pause in once in a while. But it's still very important to avoid it when it isn't there!
Only thing I don't like about this album is the rapper guy on guilty all the same
I think he sounds good and fits the song.
@@JennBithe sounds great
Ah yes that rapper guy AKA one of the greatest and most revered emcees to ever touch a mic
Fair enough pal, but you know, linkin park wanted to collab with people they admired, Rakim was one of the big ones onto the 90s hip hop, the fact that linkin park got their rots based on Hip hop makes sense in that song, old linkin park fan will appreciate the rap on it
I don't listen to cRap, linkin park is the closest I'll get. I thought Reanimation and Collision Course were they're worst albums. Reanimation is good musically and remixed but those no name rapper guys ruin it
To me The Hunting Party(2014) is an overrated Linkin Park album. It improves Minutes to Midnight(2007), Meteora(2003), and Hubrid Theory(Y2K). It has solos like M2M, riffs like HT, screaming like early LP, some ballads like Meteora and M2M. The Hubting Party is a fantastic album for old and new fans of the band with better production quality than M2M. An album that won’t disappoint you compare to One Last Lonely Light(2017). Good on the band for complaining about the music scene of the mid-2010s of Chainsmokers, AJR, GVF, Coldplay’s later years, Maroon 5(post Songs about Jane), and Imagine Dragos((post first album). Rock was truly on the verge of extinction with EDM and trap being the form of music in the mainstream at the time.
Than how is it overrated?
Maybe he meant to type underrated? Lol I’d say it’s definitely an overlooked underrated album
I miss that aggressiveness that HT and Meteora gave me. I didn't like THP, no offense.
Edited: The instrumentals, I mean
The hunting party is the heaviest album for me
You type of fans are what ruin Linkin Park always complaining if u don't like their new songs then fuck off and go back and listen to their old albums
bro this is the most agressive album they made what are you talking about
.....They did a post-hardcore-ish song and made it able to be played without the entire room immediately killing themself?! Wow! What a feat! The most amazing possible feat that any band band has ever accomplished! ("Post-hatdcore" is the "official" or the "unfortunately non-deragatory" title for "millennial shit" when they started playing that millennial shit even including song pop songs while calling them a "rock band", and then within 5 years resulted in the literal demise of the station going off-air, shutting the doors because they stopped playing real bands on every song. Yes that thing. "Guilty All The Same" uses the "millennial shit style" for multiple portions of the song including the beginning. But yet somehow magically actually results in a legitimate song.
