I felt the exact same moving to qld last year. 38 years as a new south Welshman. Friends and family, thousands of memories all being left behind for a fresh new start!! It’s very surreal but one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done!

Canadian here, spent some time in Aussie and Melbourne would be the place I'd choose too if I decided to relocate for good. Sydney was great too but Melbourne just felt right.

Looking forward to a tour of the new place. As a Brit who has only spent a couple of months in Oz I found Sydney to be an exciting city, but Melbourne struck me as the place I'd want to live if I moved there. And you've got the Great Ocean Road on your doorstep! Smart move!

Yea - Melbourne is the party city for sure. The nightlife in Sydney has been on a steady decline since around 2012 which has been a massive shame. Nice to be in a city where not everybody is complaining about house prices haha

Now your in Melbourne take a ride out to Meredith the chips at the servo are great. Plus there are some nice roads all around it. Especially if you want a short ride.
And there is the Great Ocean Road for the first few times start at Anglesea or Torquay but go home via Deans Marsh.
