Great video, thanks for posting. But how do you calculate wind in relation to yardage? For me, I use the yardage/200 yds as a coefficient to the wind, so ... Wind x (Yardage/200) = Adjustment in Yards For example, against a 20 mph wind, for a 100 yd shot I add 10 yds, but for a 200 yard shot I add 20. Do you have any specific recommendations/calculations you use? Also, for uphill/downhill shots I equate 30 ft up/down as 10 yds plus/minus, respectively. Do you have any recommendations or other tools for this as well?
Interesting. Did Lizard69 say how he came up with these percentages? And does this work for judging wind distance? (Ex. would a wind at 5:30 aim 38% to the right and take 94% of that wind for the distance calculation?)
It's essentially the Sine/Cosine angle. If you go to this site and at the bottom move the circle around you can see the angles change ... that's where the #'s come from www.mathsisfun.com/sine-cosine-tangent.html
+WGT Young46 Thank you for responding so quickly, then no matter the distance to the hole? Ever opening would be the same regardless of the distance? You have told me 1cm = 1mph of wind, I have a question, would not it be 1 mm = 1mph of wind? Pardon my stupidity, I try to learn from the best, very grateful.

Great video!! But am I the only who is confused as to why it only shows from 12 o'clock - 3 o'clock?? What about the 4/5 o'clock positions and 7/8, 10/11?? The wind doesn't just blow from 12-3.
I only used 12-3 because it's all the same when you think of a clock in quarters (12-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12). 4 o'clock is the same % as 2 o'clock, 8 o'clock & 10 o'clock. 5 o'clock is the same as 11, 7 & 1 o'clock. Hope that makes since.

What if it's 200 yards to the pin. Do you times your wind by 2?

Can you get your ruler onto an iPad Pro playing mobile game? Ty
Great video, thanks for sharing your knowlege, i have a question for you, how many yards represents a centimeter on the ruler?
Thanks again.
+Juan Campos Cano It's a 1-to-1 scale. 1mm = 1mph of wind.

+Juan Campos Cano Yes 1mm per 1mph. It's the same regardless of distance but you have to use front view.
hi again i looked for the rule on your page and cant find it can you pop the link in hee
Good
how do u get so many credits?
Can you send a link for the ruler please
