I don’t have a materials list. I build everything out of my head. I just bought the boxes i was gonna use then made the rack to accommodate them. Sorry 😢
These are concrete mixing tubs from Lowes. They have 2 sizes I believe and these are the smaller cheaper ones. I do not remember the sizes but you just have to make them fit properly over the top so the rodents don’t get out.
Oh ok that’s why I was wondering because they have some at Lowe’s that are 26” long and 20” wide and then they have some smaller than that. Going to go with these. Thanks.
You guys are missing a key feature with your design that’s worth it’s weight in gold. You should have your front legs 3 inches from the edge not flush. Then you can make your runners that the tub slides on 3 inches shorter than the top of the tub and that allows your tubs to drop out without disconnecting the water lines. Nice build though other than that one drawback.
Cool man. Thanks for the advice. I believe the guy I built this for is using water bottles and thats how he wanted me to build it. Ill have to check into those water lines.
@@MattFreytag oh I never thought of that. I assumed they were sticking nipples through the mesh. That makes sense. If you don’t need it you don’t need it. Haha.
For the wean rats do they climb out the half inch wire
I really don’t know the answer for this. I just built it for a friend.
I build the same style and love them!!!! They make life so much easier!!!!!
That’s awesome. I’m sure my buddy John is gonna be happy when he gets this one setup and gets rid of the other enclosures he was using.
@@MattFreytag I bet he will. enclosures are no fun when your talking bulk rodents.
You can make a ramp out of chicken wire or hardware mesh so the mice or small rats can climb up to the food or water
Thanks for the advice!
Hey bud I love the rack . Can you post a complete materials list you used on this build ... I subscribed so . Ya kinda owe me lol

Is there a cut list or what I need to buy?
Sorry I don’t have a cut list. Just kids did it free hand to whatever fit the tubs.
Where did you get these tubs? And what are the dimensions of the boards that go over the tubs?

Need to know how much wood you used. I'm new to all this
Sorry I really don’t remember. Probably 10 2x4’s or less
