    Great video! I just don’t know how the irrational beliefs and fears work with harm ocd, like how do you break down the fears related to harm and become comfortable with them 😖😂

      Hi Stephi, thank you for your question - keep an eye out for my upcoming Q&A where I'll answer this for you. In a nutshell, for me, it wasn't about becoming comfortable with my fears, since you're never going to want these things to be true or be welcoming of the idea of it - it was more about reducing the anxiety and terror around them so that my brain would view the fears in the same way someone without OCD would view them and not spend my whole life desperately trying to prevent them coming true. Unconditional self acceptance worked really well because it helped me see that people have value and worth just for being alive and their actions can be good and bad but not them fundamentally. Making peace with any consequence of actions that could take place as a result of someones decisions helped me see the fears were not wanted, but not utterly terrifying as society makes out.
