I’ve had my new CX5 with the crappy tires it came with do amazing in the snow. I definitely plan to get better tires when the time comes but the all wheel drive was impressive.

Nice! Yeah, Mazda has a good AWD system! These test videos really proved that point to me. I was expecting them to be much more FWD biased.

A nice review video. But yeah, the Turbo + All-wheel drive versions are just worth paying for.

They’re pretty fun! I can’t believe it’s already been a few months since I filmed this last one.

Better put out some "Fun times at the beach" episodes before people get wiser. (No worries, not asking you take your Subaru onto the sands. But some Summer cruising wouldn't hurt.) 😎☀

Agree, tires are paramount! This is on my short list. Also considering Subi Crosstrek Sport, Honda HRV, Toyo RAV4. Thanks for this test! Appreciate it!

    Nice Red interior.
I surely beats the old, outdated Gloomy Grey and Death Black interior that’s been standard for more than 1/2 my lifetime.

We removed the back seat head rests on our new CX5 for better visibility.

Thanks for sharing! I know others have asked about doing that on some of my other videos. 🙂

I have noticed on my 2024 cx-30 early morning driving it sometimes feels faster at times and not to quickly after 20 minutes of driving, i do full up different brand of gasoline i doubt the gas makes a difference.

I’m not surprised! Cold air temps and before the engine is heat soaked.

Do you ever cut cookies when “testing” all of those vehicles?
    I know that I would.
Before I bought my wife her Outback we were test driving one. Thankfully the salesman wasn’t with us.
I pulled over to a parking lot and we were talking about the car.
I totally spaced out and the Outback rolled off the parking lot, down an embankment and there was a Huge mud puddle at the bottom.
I gave that car hell trying to get out of that deep mud puddle.
My wife and I were very impressed by how well it handled as we were going down the embankment and through the muddy puddle.
We we took it back to the dealer, it was obvious that it had been “4 wheeling”.
The salesman mentioned something about it and I simply told him what happened.
He asked me if we wanted to buy it, but I told no because it was the 6cyl and we wanted a 4, because it was going to be my wife’s commuter car.

Lol, that’s an awesome story. And no, I’m quite cautious with the vehicles I borrow. I think it would be cool someday if I could get press cars and test much more thoroughly, but for now what you see on camera is primarily all there is. 🙂
