Lets check out this awesome Sherman in Stormworks Search and Destroy! Not going to lie, I struggled with actually using the gun... Its a honest mistake though, it wasn't wrote anywhere. But we got there in the end!

Custom Creative Mode
Play the game how you want. Custom mode gives dozens of creative tools and options, suited for players who like to let their creativity run free and wild. In this mode, you are not limited by the survival and realism rules allowing you to create large and complex vehicles from the outset. Ideal for players who like to create scale replicas of real-world vehicles or wacky and ambitious creations of their own design.
Career Survival mode
Career mode focuses on progression and an overarching plot of starting your own search and rescue service from humble beginnings and building it up to cover the entire Stormworks world map. You will have to manage your finances, build space, and your own safety as you complete various missions to finance larger, more complex vehicles and new land bases.
Survival difficulty options
Survival difficulty options add an extra level of difficulty to your search and rescue operation with the most in depth and advanced game features including: advanced engine and fuel mechanics, LUA based micro controllers, vehicle damage, spreadable fire, and a variety of player damage types that can result in player deaths including:
fall / impact damage
fire damage
prolonged exposure to the sea resulting in hypothermia
mechanical damage (rotor blades)
water pressure damage
...and sharks!
Construct vehicles by placing blocks in a rich editing suite, customize them with your own design and program their behaviour using the powerful in-game logic system. Choose from a wide array of components to assemble your own rescue helicopters, boats, submersibles and more…
Take to the sea, land or sky in your newly created vehicle. Navigate through over 15,000 square kilometres of ocean and islands in an amazingly dynamic world. Players will need to ensure that they create the right vehicle for the job as every mission is unique.
Design specific vehicles to respond to challenging missions across open oceans, island facilities, remote rigs and more. Rescue survivors from the water, fight fires, help repair oil rigs, operate nuclear power station machinery and more. Create and share your own missions using the rich missions editor. Unlock new locations and components in career mode or explore your imagination in creative mode.
Join your friends in cooperative multiplayer as you operate multi-crew vehicles, and execute complex missions involving careful planning and coordination.
The day-night cycle and dynamic weather system create diverse environments to put your creations to the test. Very epic M4 sherman calliope
Hello, creator here. Thanks for trying out my Calliope, sorry for the complexish starting system. Radial Engines can be a bit destructible in the way you start them (Oil pooling in the bottom cylinder) The tank can also break if you leave the transmission brake on while trying to move. I'll do a revision of the description so the traverse/elevation controls are a bit more easy to use and rename Parking Brake to Transmission Brake. Also, you left the starter on when driving, so every time you gear up it makes a bad noise. Thanks again!

@@jamesscalzo3033 Well I was hoping to make the Canadian Skink AA Grizzly, but the DLC Autocannon loading system is a bit limiting for space, the junctions don't work in all directions. Was also testing a M7 Priest hull. I tried to make Fury but the shape might be too complicated. Prob try again or just go and work on my Abrams.
You should try and engage the A.I into a tank battle. I think shell penetration's possible in this game.
it's possible, I'm tested this, but only armour pierceing shell can penetrate

That tank is called the T34 Calliope which was a M4 Sherman with rockets on top that are designed for examples to cause hell against infantry units and tanks but also to destroy buildings with enemies in them, so really cool to see one in Stormworks
Calliope is my new favorite word.

Make the Sherman Firefly by upgrading its turret barrel
Calliope can't use its gun because it was somehow conected to rockets so this is at least what I think the reason why it can't shoot here too.

Loved the video @Frantic! Can't wait to see this against the AI Tanks! Please grab two Sherman Tanks (M4A1(76 millimeter) Variant, same creator) each with 3 people and secure a capture point in the world of Stormworks! The Creator of this Vehicle, @RandomThingsPosted, has a UA-cam channel of the same name where he shows how they work and why they are designed like that. He goes for more Historical builds, so that's why you had to crank the engine like that which was to simulate what's known as Hydrostatic Shock. Basically, if you don't crank the engine as you should, the Fuel or engine fluids will settle down in the cylinder heads which causes your engine to blow up.

The button on the bottom fires the cannon on real shermans. Basically made like that so you can press it with your foot

I would suggest that when the intro song plays you don’t make it so that it shows the future of the video in the background because then it kind of spoils the video and makes us skip through your intro.

Hydrostatic lock, if you do not crank the engine on a radial before starting, oil will be pooled at the bottom cylinder and will then be compressed by the cylinder upon starting which will cause the cylinder to explode or crack. Pre cranking will spread the oil around preventing this.
