Hey Jacob! Well man, I lost my grandparents around the same age. I haven’t seen them except for in pictures. To see their mannerisms, to hear their voice, would be amazing. But I remember every single day I spent with them. I’d wake up at 7, HAPPY, because I knew what we would do that day; watch cartoons while Mamaw made the coffee, bring Papaw his cup, sit with him while we wait for Aint Monie to wake up, visit while waiting for Uncle Ricky to join us for breakfast, then just go do something fun. It was a blast everyday and I still feel that with the family members still with me. Love goes on man. Feel what you gotta feel and let it get out, but at the end of the day remember that Grandpa is still with you, he loves you, he’s proud of you, and the love he gave to you and that you shared will ALWAYS be there. This really broke my heart I cried so hard. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see my grandpa on my 13th birthday and he had a party planned for me. He passed 8 day’s later it’s been 9 years and I still think about him everyday and I cry every birthday I miss that man so much. AGP reminds me of my pawpaw so much it’s not funny.

when jacob started crying...i immediately broke down into tears. i lost my grandfather before my 15th birthday...and he was always there for my cake and ice cream parties at home. We lost him in 2018 so I was 14. im 16 now and this made me realize how much more I miss him...even my puppy came and laid next to me when she saw my tears. i graduate next year and i wanted him to be there and it sucks when i realize he wont be. its still hard when i think about him but it gets better and like i said to myself today i want jacob to remember this. “Hurt in private. Heal in silence. Shine in public.” happy birthday kiddo🥺💙.
