    If mankind has processed what you are consuming then it is a higher probability that it is toxic. The earth will give you what you need to survive, you dont need mankind's help. If you want coconut oil, then you should eat a coconut. We weren't birthed with fire, so we dont need fire to eat. The earth will provide everything any species needs to survive. Processed food is not only bad for humans but all life. That's why people and the pets they own are the only ones who have diseases like cancer and diabetes, because we feed our pets the same processed foods. A lion would get sick if you feed it cooked food all of the time. Animals dont need a humans help to survive and vice versa.

      yes brother we are carbon based tropical beings. I feel like not only eating sunfired raw cuisine in its whole form is better for you but high water foods about 70% water is key. Also I would try to stay away from dried up fruits and concentrated nuts and seeds which only take away water from you in order to further break it down. Also oil is only dehydrating you again. Same with the grains wether alkaline or not dr sebis guide was strictly for beginners. that beong said the herbs are for the healing of the nation and would most definitely take iron herbs if you have no sunlight at all. especially in the fall and winter. peace brother!

    I’ve been vegan for 3 years now and all last year I was invested into transitioning into an alkaline specific diet. Now through more recent research from Sebi,Dr. Afrika and my own personal Experience, I’ve learned a couple key things about true alkaline eating habits:
    1. You can cook the food but not over certain temperatures and most vegetables and fruits should be only steamed slightly. By steaming it you cook it in water, it’s not supposed to be submerged because fruits and vegetables are hydrophilic meaning they LOVE water, so if you put it directly into water, it’ll want to absorb more of the water until the vegetables literally can’t absorb anymore, in which it’ll start losing its color ,and then the water it was submerged in is now taking the nutrients from the vegetables you’re cooking instead. Pretty much osmosis. Steam until the color brightens up slightly and you get a literal glow from the food. That’s when you know it’s done and the nutrients are in tact. Steaming only requires a little heat to activate certain nutrients and minerals in the fruit and vegetables, which is fine because it releases the nutrients by heating and then breaking down certain bonds so that our digestive system can break down the nutrients even faster. (Loosens the peptide bonds on the nutrients like calcium, manganese, zinc) your digestive system could use this because your body naturally has to heat up to break down what you just ate anyways. We just can’t to destroy the nutrients before they get there, so cooking should be treated as a chemical experiment every time. There’s a science to it.
    2. The herbs and the food are very different sciences but learning your herbs require you to be diligent about learning your fruits and vegetables too. Herbs are to HEAL and food is for FUEL. They serve different purposes but Dr.Sebi’s studies focus on choosing the right food to give to your body so that the herbs that you’re also given, can ignite healing in the body. That healing is initiated by the herbs reminding your body where it needs to release and now get to use those nutrients that it stored. Those particular nutrients only come from the food (fuel) you choose to eat. For example oregano is an amazing herb and is used to treat a plethora of illnesses. In the winter oregano and oil of oregano is used heavily to prevent colds and sore throats. Oregano stimulates your body to release vitamin c in potent amounts and that vitamin c will always kick a cold in the ass and eliminate it on the spot. You get vitamin C from citrus 🍊 fruits primarily though, not in taking a bunch of oregano, but by eating plenty of citrus fruits. The herbs are definitely here to heal and your breakdown is what I’ve been hoping to see more from the alkaline vegan community. The Alkaline diet goal is to electrify the body again and give it the energy and building blocks that are naturally designed to take care of us in the first place. There is a right and wrong way to be alkaline vegan or just plant based and both require diligence and consistent love.
    I just found this channel tonight but I definitely will be a forever subscriber, thank you for sharing your journey and sending you love along your raw diet phase, Ik it’s temporary but whatever you learn from it, I’d love to hear 🤍

      Love you content I give thanks that you are a part of the next generation of alkaline nutritional guides. I believe in regards to cooking your food the temperature has a lot to do with the level of nutrients being extracted from the food. In African culture there is a name for the one who masters the element of fire using a cast iron or clay pot. In many cultures of course the fire is made by hand and cooked outside adding yet another source of organic energy being put into the food.
      Creating a plant based soup or broth loaded with herbs and spices is one way to extract the nutrients. Another factor also points to how the ingredients interact with one another in addition to their interactions with the water. I love Dr. ase I for setting us back on track. However, we still have a lot to learn In regards to Alchemy incorporating all the elements into one.

    I couldn’t agree with you more in “bringing our toxic ways into a lifestyle that was meant to be healthy”. When I got into the Facebook groups of Dr. Sebi and saw all of the meals that people make, they confused me at first. They are “healthier” than the way they used to eat but not the way Dr. Sebi intended the diet to be in order to HEAL us

  • @kotsios555
    @kotsios555 3 роки тому +10

    (The great) Arnold Ehret spoke about these issues. You can't go all raw at once and make it a lifestyle suddenly. It won't work because the body enters a phase of detoxification, which can be uncomfortable and even dangerous at the worst. That's why cooked food MUST be introduced to ones diet along with the reduction of detoxing foods (fruits mostly) in order to control and shift the cleansing process...when you are perfectly clean then you can go all raw without problems.

  • @UniVS427
    @UniVS427 3 роки тому +60

    Raw food (alkaline) is definitely better because of its high water content especially during a cleanse/detox. Cooked food is good too but not for cleansing.

    I think what Sebi really meant is that if any food came from the three components of life which are carbon , hydrogen, and oxygen even if you cooked it until ash it would never lose the minerals out of it , I don’t think he meant to smother it in oils , him himself was never a big fan of oil .. but great point my brother

      You gave to work in the variety of foods and be creative. Google is your best friend. I stuck to fruits, vegetables, seeds, cold press juices, smoothies, teas and water. No oils. For those fast to jump to assumptions (wrongly)...
      I have been plant based since 1996 when I was 19, I'm now almost 44. Been on the raw path ever since then, been hosting and offering workshops on how to become vegan /plant based /raw for years and raised three children on a plant based diet. But food does not fall from the sky y'all! What I meant was that I literally can't afford to buy fruit and vegetables for the last almost one year since I lost my job in the tourism industry thanks to Covid. I live in a desert country that is officially one of the least food growing countries on earth. Fruit and vegetables are the most expensive foods and only money can buy it:no farmers markets where you can exchange or barter, no food stamps in a African country for no one, not even the most vulnerable gets food aid.
      So here I am living off beans and starch and visualizing fruits and vegetables in abundance.....
      Better count your blessings and stop giving advice about situations you know nothing about ⛔

      @Cristina L yeah that's why I have been plant based for 24 years and counting, making excellent choices for my health and my children's health. I have not eaten anything that died all this time. Not even now that I have no money to buy food (fruits and vegetables) and is forced to eat starch and beans do I eat unhealthy. I still try to eat healthy and wholesome. I definitely find it a blessing if you have money to buy fruit and vegetables, that is why I posted that comment. Funny how people, who obviously aren't experiencing food shortage and have no idea what it's like to live without food or any other shortage for that matter, is so fast to make assumptions about what they know nothing about.

    Great video!! I started changing my eating habits in July 2020. I cut out meat, bread, dairy, and processed/sugar. I ate eggs, tuna, or salmon occasionally. In October I was mostly eat raw foods along w/16hr fasting. I definitely felt MUCH Better. I felt really light and clean. Then I did A 5 day water fast and that really kicked things into high gear. The holidays came. I did good on Thanksgiving. On Christmas i decided to have some Turkey, dressing, and potato salad. I could feel the difference. I could feel mucus. I am back on track and looking to do 80% raw and 20% cooked. My end goal is to be an alkaline vegan. I have enjoyed this process and learing how my body reacts to clean eating. don't beat yourself up, if you don't become a vegan, though. Different bodies have different needs. Only because it works for some people, doesn't mean it is good for everyone.
      I eat mainly raw foods, most of them vegetables, + avocados and a few bananas. I also eat 40-80 grams of fish a day (only the fish is cooked). I tried being vegan many times, but it didn't work, I always had too many health problems.
      But that's me, hopefully your body is different. Good luck.

    I've been finding that intuitive lifestyle suits me best. I feel there are some foods that cooking brings the nutrients forward. You can see this as the color deepens as it is heated. Whereas when the color lessens the nutrients have begun to deplete. As with anything, we will resonate with some parts of the paths of others but we are each uniquely coded, so our paths are also unique. Our truth is ours alone, even tho others may resonate and the truth never needs defending. Giving thanks for you!

    I am currently and have been eating raw for the past few months because of a physical injury I have. I have noticed an significant level of inflammation and pain goes down dramatically when I start eating raw foods. (Raw fruits only). When I add some greens, healing does slow down and I could definitely feel the difference compared to only eating fruits. When I add in steamed/cooked veggies, I could feel even a bigger halt in my healing as more inflammation and pain start to flare up. I’m not going to lie, it’s difficult to maintain this lifestyle due to the cost of it, especially because I live in Michigan. When I visit my hometown /(south Texas). The abundance of fruits is amazing and the price also decreases due to Mexico being right across the border. I see myself eating this way for my entire life due to my injury, don’t get me wrong. It’s not wrong to splurge in cooked meals every once in a while but the main thing we need to do it get back on track always. Wishing you luck on your journey bro 💯🙏🏼

      I encourage you to look into macros. As a vegan myself mostly raw for a long time, the biggest mistake you can make is to ignore the science and biology of your body. You need proteins and fats to survive at a molecular level. I encourage you to do your research. You should definitely listen to your body, but it is not always as clear as “I feel good therefore it must be working”.
      My body suffered with pcos for many years and felt good only on high carb and low fat diets, because I had insulin resistance. Listening to my body in this issue meant dangerously exasperating the issue, gaining weight, ruining my blood glucose levels, losing all energy, breaking out, adrenal fatigue, insomnia, etc.
      Your body reacts to what you feed it. Short terms results can blind from truth.
      I support and encourage you on your journey. However if you truly wish to lead this lifestyle long term, you need to be well-informed, willing to constantly evolve and change, and have a sustainable approach to your diet.
      If you are merely a few months in and find this already challenging, there needs to be adjustments made.
      You should not be consuming pounds and pounds of fruit and nothing else, your body needs fats and proteins to function too. Just because a few youtubers claimed a fruitarian approach saved them doesn’t mean they have degrees and full academic study to back this up. Check your sources, question everything.

I followed the book “back to Eden” by jethro kloss and soon entered mostly raw food lifestyle with nothing but fruits, vegetables, and seeds( beans, nuts, rice, oats) and I noticed that most other food is dehydrating and dry.
