I love this couple . The love they have for each other is so heart warming . I bawled last episode watching her husband cry . I wish them nothing but the best. I hope their business grows very successful and I hope the wife gets better and is able to live a healthy happy fulfilled life . Nothing but love and respect for this couple 💕🙏
SAME
I don't know why but i cried watching how much her husband care for her and how hard she works bruh they deserve better😭😭
I adore the husband, he is so kind and strong. What a beautiful family.
I really wish success, health, and happiness for this family. Out of all the families featured here, they are the best.
1:00 it’s kinda ironic that while they’re having a serious conversation about cancer, you can hear the little girl singing in the background 😆 gotta love the pureness of kids tho, they always help brighten the mood when the adults are feeling down
Wishing all health and happiness to them forever 😍
diabetes is teh worst especially in my country 😭😭😭😭
i hope she can cure the diabetes. there are new cures available taking bone marrow and stuff and STEP cells
Love this couple, and the husband was so loving and caring to his wife and child. Hope they will be successful on their business and will have a great and healthy life together.
I have to say this has become my favorite little series on this channel. I love this family. Everyone is so wholesome and loving, the way they live their day-to-day lives caring for each other. They have a life with struggles but they keep their heads held high and stay hopeful. Thank you for showing us a glimpse of their life. To live happily and healthily, I hope they have this for a very long time, and I wish them the very best. 💗
Wow i can so relate to this woman...both me and my 4 year old son were diagnosed with celiac disease and being from a community that doesn't have knowledge of this illness it was very hard..thankfully i live in Australia where there are organisations and health professionals is available..both me and my son are on gluten free diet for a year now and we dn't visit restaurants or families anymore as it got hard hearing them making ignorant remarks or jokes as to why we not eating pasta and bread😩...it takes emotional and mental toll on you...Best of luck to her
She’s soo lucky to have him, he’s such a caring husband.
Only those who go through health struggles know that nothing is more important than health and happiness.
I can't express how much I adore this family . I wish them success and good health 💛💛💛
This is an amazing family Amanda is so simple and nice her husband is so nice and caring I will pray for your happiness and healthy health Amanda.
I am also a type 1 diabetic living in Korea. It’s hard even in my own country… expensive health care products and over 4 shots a day… I will root for u ! Lets not get the disease get to us !
If you think about it she's in one of the best places to have celiac. Bread and wheat based dishes are not the staple in Asian countries. As for the DM 1, it can be hard to manage but it's not impossible. All the best for this family.
It's the hidden gluten that's the risk in Asia. For SK, both Soy sauce and Gochujang are possibly contaminated with gluten so even something like kimchi is a minefield. I agree that it looks like it would be easier but she must have to cook mostly everything from scratch. I'm glad her husband is so supportive. They're a cute family
@@nifferwilko I thought gluten is only in wheat? How does kimchi or soy sauce have that
@@user-ly4wt9xp4i It's either used as an ingredient in making it, or it's produced in a factory that also processes gluten containing ingredients. Wheat is a cheap filler so a lot of manufacturers use it to bulk up their products. Before I was diagnosed I thought the same but it's scary how prolific it is in dishes you wouldn't expect. There are obviously Soy sauce and Gochujang that are safe to eat, but you'd have to know that the dish was made for that brand. This lady's MIL will make hers with the right brand, but it's harder in restaurants.
I wouldn't expect someone who isn't gluten free to be aware of the hidden gluten at all. Even my parents struggle with what is safe and GF. Basically if you make everything from scratch, you know what's in it but eating out is difficult which is a big part of the social culture in South Korea.
I hope that helped!
@@user-ly4wt9xp4i they use glutenous rice flour for the marinade! You mix all the ingredients like gochujang, garlic, anchovy sauce and whatnot together with the cooked rice flour roux and mush it in between the nappa cabbage leaves! If she makes kimchi from scratch she has to leave out that flour and just use gochugaru, maybe doing like a fresh summer cucumber or chive kimchi instead :)
@@nifferwilko contaminated with gluten is not the right word. containing gluten is. contaminated sounds derogatory especially when food items like that are part of the culture too.
Beautiful mother and child and a sweet supportive father. This family is really hearth warming and lovely! I wish them to always be healthy and happy!
i can relate to Amanda, i have a daughter and i also have type 1 diabetes for 8yrs now, and Ive been to ER for so many times due to hypoglycemia, 2016 was the worst cause I was already in the ambulance with oxygen then i was in the ICU for 3days, i really thank god for saving me and giving me another life and chance to live with my daughter.. .wishing you good health Amanda..
I‘m really sorry to hear that, do you have a cgm ? That could really help you
Not many ppl realize how dangerous hypoglycemia is and the side affects.
Hope you stay healthy and happy 🍀
@@winter7091 yeah, its really dangerous, thank you so much for the concern.. .1 year has passed, and thank god, ive never been to ER again.
@@LeoLeo-qs8tt what's cgm by the way? thanks for the concern.
@@kiwimazing5106 continuous glucose monitor. It’s a small device that gives you your blood sugar in real time (also alarms, in case it goes up or gown). It can be connected with multiple phones or seen via a little monitor. There is a big variety on the market! It’s super helpful 😊
omg what a warm family, i'm glad that they're caring for each other. i hope this family will stay healthy and happy as they wish 💕
I really love this couple, they have a lot thrown at them but they tackle it together
They are so kind and simple i love them
Such a beautiful family.
I really love this couple! Wish them all the best ❤
Wishing ye guys a healthy and joyful times all the time ❤️❤️
i'm also a type 1 diabetic with celiac disease and it's rouuuuugh. even on good days it's still a pain in the ass. i couldn't imagine taking care of a family on top of dealing with the daily challenges we go through just to stay alive and appear somewhat normal. she definitely seemed to be experiencing a bit of diabetic burnout here, which could explain why she said she had no time to check her blood sugars. and having celiac disease on top of that sometimes makes things seem impossibly difficult and it's easy to feel discouraged and unmotivated to take care of yourself. i'm commenting on this so late, but i hope she's doing well. all we can do is try our best each day. and what a lovely family!!
they are such a beautiful couple. and a beautiful family. hard working and loving.
OMG! They're so amazing!!
I love this family, they are so sweet 💘
Pure love.
All the happiness and health to this family 💖
...GOOD HEALTH WISHES for AMANDA. . .
aand GOOD LIFE for the WHOLE FAMILY...
The husband is so supportive😭😭
Wishing you a happy and healthy life. :) love and peace
i pray that they have a happy and healthy life ahead of them
As a T1D, I tend to do my G/Lvls and insulin before I eat rather than after, since then I know what my lvls are, calculate how much I need and if I need extra. It's super interesting to see how other people do it!
Alas, I do wish you all the health and happiness.
The couple is so cute and care for each other, and their daughter is really cute 🥰 🥺
I admired that couple 💖💕
Happy anniversary to guy, wishing Amanda's good health and the business to prosper,,be happy always and god bless your family, fightinnnng
Amanda's accent pops out the second she's talking to her parents. Sooo cute.
He tries so hard. He's the glue to this relationship!
I wish my culture had a wide range of food like the Korean culture 😋 everything just looks so good and I love how they always have side dishes
Where are u from?
Waiting for the next episode 🥰🥺🥺🥺
He loved her so much
If they start vlogging I would watch it.
I love this family^^
Yeah i need someone like this.
their family is so strong
What a wonderful husband!
The husband of the year!!
Wishing for long life & hapinness!!!!!!!!!!!
I want more of them
I'm very surprised to know type 1 Db is rare in Korea! I know 4 ppl just in my little city in Canada already and this doc only has one patient wow.
I think it’s because of healthier diets so it’s less likely to become generational as well.
@@joydot.dot.dot.8040 Type 2 diabetes is what you’re thinking of, where an unhealthy lifestyle leads to it. Type 1 is caused due to immune system inefficiencies, triggered by viruses or something in the environment.
@@ashanticannon Oh then I really don’t know. Does that means type 2 diabetes is rare in Korea too or just type 1?
@@joydot.dot.dot.8040 possibly both, I don’t really know but considering type 1 is rare type 2 must be uncommon as well
@@ashanticannon I did some research and compared it with the numbers of my country Canada. Years are different in the studies, but South Korea seems to have half the number of cases in Db2 of Canada. As for Db1, the rare one, the latest number in Canada is 1%, but in South Korea it is between 0.017% and 0.021% of the population 😱 It must be something about the genes I guess
New Episode😭😻
yas 🤩
@@k-doc467 thank you for another awesome episode 💕
I’m going to cut down on my sugar/wheat intake, my family has a long history with diabetes even though we are Asians 🥲
Hehehe, he looks like Steven Yeun!!!
gosh I wish they could inform themselves better, because you don't necessarily have to adjust your diet with type 1 diabetes :") Ofc eating more greens and such does help with your general health but there's no need at all to cut out sugar completely for example. I hope the doc and her are informing themselves well! I wish I could help her directly goshh
we want to see their recent update video plz
This footage feels so old due to the way they treat her diabetes even though is not. Why doesn’t she get a cgm and a pump? It would make things so much easier for her. Does the insurance not pay for insulin pumps in Korea ??
I feel so bad for her, she has so much unnecessary stress due to not having the proper equipment ☹️☹️
It’s because it’s so uncommon a disease here so equipment is not widely available and very expensive. Even until very recently, buying CGMs from abroad was illegal so it’s not so simple 😅
@@lexis__world wow I‘m so sorry to hear that ☹️
Hi editor from barbados in the Caribbean
hii I’ve always wanted to visit barbados 😩💙
I'm also an English tutor in a different country
Where can I find their UA-cam channel
Do they have a youtube channel?
I really wish them the best
Where can i find the full episode plssssss
Is there part 4?
Do they have social media accounts
Do they have their own page ?
What episode is this Editor?
i heard about a system that can inject insulin automatically there are even some open sourse online to build it yourself since in the US is kinda expensive
ua-cam.com/video/A_9k8dFdPe4/v-deo.html
Its called an insulin pump im sure it would help a lot stay healthy!
But really her husband is so nice with her . And caring of her . I like you man love you 😍 ❤ 💙 😘 ♥ 💕
Interesting that it is so rare. In Europe I know quite a few who have diabetes type 1. I would say it’s common but not uncommon either. Everyone I know knows someone who has it or has been in contact with someone. Is it food? Culture? Stress?
Probably genetics
its food and culture , usually Western Countries have higher obesity rates since they eat fast/junk food a lot which can build up a lot of disease, but in Asian countries mostly in Korea,Japan and China, we have a diet that's implemented in our culture mainly vegetables, a lot of proteins and rice which can affect the health positively depending on the person. Thats why our heights, diet, weight defers bcz our food is completely different than the West. So diseases like cancer and diabetes are very uncommon.
@@lincer4784 there is a difference between diabetes type 1 and 2. Type 2 is because of lifestyle but you are born with type 1. Type 1 is purely genetics and unavoidable
Type 1 is genetics, something she would have as a child. Type 2 is due to poor diet and lack of exercise. I was pre diabetic and I had to change my eating habits and exercise more to get better. However it sounds like she has type 2 but they’re giving her insulin like she’s type 1.
@@mika9883 no she always knew she was diabetic, she discovered later on that she also had celiac disease. So still type 1
what's their ig ahhh
The two primary benefits of Moringa for diabetes include:
Lowering your blood sugar levels, and
Indirectly defending you from other diabetic-related metabolic diseases ...this might help....
Dang terra is sassier than Key of SHINee(sorry key lol)
This a real korean drama.
🤣
Does he ever do sth only for himself? Or does she ever do sth for him? I guess it's because she came to his country (which is a big sacrifice) that it can appear like this...
I think it's best for them to move to Canada so that she get the best treatment
How can I find part 1 and 2 ? It would be great if you guys put the links in the description bar for the videos cut into mini series 😊 thanks!
In case you haven't seen it yet, it's already in the description box :)
@@nanastudynook thanks! It wasn’t when I first checked
Now I need a husband like that :(
What does the husband do for living?
He doesn't work, he said that in another episode, he help her wife with the business
The world is changing.
I wonder why they’re so rare in there? I thought type 1 diabetes has nothing to do with genetics and foods you eat for example. Like it’s not a disease one has because of environment but a chance?
Can she have Tamari (which is gluten free soy sauce)
May triple gems bless her. If she come to Sri Lanka I think ayurvedic medications will help her
Do they have a UA-cam channel
She looks like barbara palvin tho
:')
anyone knows amanda’s instagram?

@@LeoLeo-qs8tt Type 1 also covered by insulance but many korean usually doesn't use insulin pump. They get a insulin shot. Korea has so many hospital and very cheap
Type 1 diabetics is not common in korea
oddly enough it might be the vaccines expected of people to take during childhood
Don't make idiotic comments
@@silverysnowfox nah I'm a diabetic as well 😂💀😂 don't have a family history either I did research and the most common vaccination given out in young age is B something
@رشيد guess where you can't get this vaccination?? South Korea and diabetes is rare in that country
Would he be that supportive and helpful if the wife was actually korean ? I'm genuinly asking just out of curiosity
If he loves her, yeah i believe so, it doesn't matter if she is.korean or not. He seems to be a decent and supportive husband though..
Yes.... thats how it is when you marry the love of your life.
@C C ofcourse he would be, why won't he be? This question was so unnecessary
Stupid question ever. Are you sick?
Honestly speaking you should not waste your money to doctors in korea or anywhere esle instead i would suggest you to come to india and practise yoga for a year im definetily sure deasease would go away ...... its ayurveda it can cure any disease.
diabetes doesn’t go away, if you wanna do with your body how you want, but dont make dumbass suggestions
Hey what's their Instagram id
Do they have social media accounts
