yup, trained like he was broke. I grew up in GR Michigan and boxed in golden gloves for 3 yrs, I was terrible but got me in shape in a hurry. Anyway, a few of the trainers who have been involved in the GR amateur boxing scene for decades. Randy Sutter, a farmer in the outskirts of GR trained me for a few yrs when I asked about Floyd he said they all knew he was an extremely gifted boxer at a very young age and would eventually be a world champion but he always emphasized Floyds dedication to training, was always the first boxer to the gym and the last one to leave, said he's always been maniacal about training ever since he was a kid.

Damn so many people bash floyd and saying he picked but in actuality he fought all the names they threw at him even if was later in their career. A question i have is, would people accept him more if he would have lost a fight? Is it really anger that they never saw floyd lose and thats what fans wanted.

He lost to Jose Luis Castillo. He's a A tier boxer but he is not in the top 10 boxers of all time.

Wanna know why it wasn't about the money ... ? Because when he was with top rank he didn't make too much money , but he always wanted to be the top dawg at top rank. He wanted it so bad that he had a chalk board of all the top rank fighters and at the time Oscar was number 1. And he worked to get up to the top 3. But he knew he wasn't going to be the top dawg fighting for Arum. So he took His Own Money and bought out of his contract. Meaning he probably ended up paying double than what he signed for. Was worth the gamble. And he's finished TBE. Chop Chop Corely been in the Mayweather camp ever since they had that battle. He's been getting floyd sparring work for years after that battle. Zab too. He got Floyd ready for the manny fight. Floyd is a business man and loved by more of the boxing community that we know.

      Facts
Broner wishes he was Floyd. He may had fooled the public but he didn’t fool me. I looked for cracks in his game in the very beginning based off the shoulder roll alone. I said the way Gavin Reese touched him he will not stand up against someone that can crack bc he gets hit too much and his punch output is slim. And then Maidana happened and I was right and not shocked.

Mario Garcia This was 2006 leading up to his fight vs Judah, two fights away from the Oscar bout. He wasn’t in his prime anymore after his return to boxing. He was still great and beat everybody but he had brittle hands and never really took chances in fights. He simply lost passion for the sport later in his career so it became all about the check.
