I would like to know the useful life of the xt2 mechanical shutter is how many shots?

I don’t think there is a fix number, but I have been shooting for 4 and a half years now and each shoot has average of 1500 to 2000 photos. Each year about 70k photos, so 5 years about 350k photos, and my xt2 still working pretty good :)

Which type of light metering do you use? Looks like it is most of the time spot metering directly at the face of the model. Like the dark backgrounds.
