I support your effort so please don't get me wrong but I have one of these w/the factory rock sliders just like you had & I use the slider as a step to get in, you put your rt foot up first, pointing fwd/parallel w/truck. Grab steering wheel w/rt hand & you're in, zero drama. I am 6 foot, I think It'd work for anybody.
Gotta ask you a question ICEMAN, how much do you make an hour? Would it have been worth having the Tint Place install the boards? Cause they do electrical as well..
Yeh not sure on that being I’d say someone would book 4 hour job. And I like to share how to videos so others see if it’s truly what it is. Go Rhino shows a quick video and makes it look to simple😳. And if I watched my video and had the extra money than I probably would pay some shop. And yeh the body’s feeling that work getting up off the floor and on my feet over and over again. As always thanks for watching
That was quite a project. It reminded me of the time I installed a.winch and plow on my utv,it's never easy. What made things worse is the instructions were wrong,I bet you wanted to strangle somebody,to say the least.T he good thing is you did it! and now getting in and out will be a breeze. After that you might want to keep it for just a little longer. Next project, trim your beard, you might need a hedge trimmer for that one, just kidding 😊.
