this made me realize how, even if people say rental prices in Canada are high, it is still cheap compared to Singapore. a 2BR unit in Singapore would be over 3.5k CAD even... 1.8k CAD only gets you a masters bedroom in a shared flat.
It's silly comparing rental rates without mentioning income taxes and salaries. I live in HK and I can significantly save more here than in Canada despite HK always being in the top five most expensive places to live.
@robocop581 your point being ? that was just a plain comparison of rental prices between the two countries which may or may not be absolutely correlated with income tax and salaries in its entirety.

Opinion ko lang naman sir. Kung gusto mo ng legal and well documented na transaction, mas maganda may broker. Kung maghahanap ka kasi ng rental properties sa Realtor.ca, yung mga contact numbers na makikita mo doon is yung sa broker ng landlord. Kung derecho ka sa kanila, expect na they will protect yung interest ng client nila. If may broker ka, yung interest mo naman as a tenant yung concern nila. Kaya mas balanse ang terms ng contract nyo kapag pareho kayo may broker.
