Thanks for the advice! I have the Ridgid 4.5G box type vac and it’s definitely handy. I just wish it was battery powered. On the plus side, I can put a HEPA filter on it.
Best video review I've seen for the Ryobu Bucket Top Vacuum...THANK YOU!! Couple questions pls: 1. Where did you find your 3 1/2 gal bucket? 2. The supplied 4' hose seems short...can the vac head accept any longer generic 1. 25" hose?
Thanks! I have 2 different 3.5 gallon buckets. Here's a link on Amazon to one of them...amzn.to/3XGHpNC I agree the 4' hose seems short. I'm sure you could use a longer one, but I haven't tried.
Would you add a 5 gallon bucket or 3.5 gallon to this Ryobi Vacuum?
@@MarkThomasBuilder 5-gallon 4-sure…
Nicely done review! Covered everything that's important. I like the way you do things. Subscribed for sure.
Thank you, sir, appreciate it!🙌
Great video Mark always helpful and informative
Thanks, appreciate it!👊
Great video, keep at it!
Thanks, will do!
Ridgid and Milwaukee both have box type. They go on sale $99-$179 but you have to follow HD every week

Pretty nifty - looks like you already sold HD out of the vacuum :)
Haha, yeah it’s a cool idea for a vac.🙌
thanks for the video. was very informative unlike the company's promo video now i can actually buy with peace of mind after seeing the actual test
That's cool, thanks for letting me know! 😀👍
Great Job, this made my buying decision easier and I decided to go with this one !!
Cool, glad to hear it! 😎👍
Interested in buying yours if willing to sell and ship to VA. HD won't give an estimated restock date. I have a specific use that I'd like one for.
Wanting to get this for Gold prospecting of all things. Looks like it can be useful vacuuming out crevices etc.
Interesting, just bring along some back up batteries. 👍
Can you not blow saw dust or similar directly into the bucket?
Great video review on this unit. I am really thinking about this option for carpentry and small game car detailing.
It would work well for that.

so you will tell me it will be great If I have a bucket and it comes back in stock??
I was confused by the filter bag. So it's not a dust collection bag?
The filter bag keep the dust from getting into the motor. The dust is collected in the bucket.
Does this come in a kit with battery , I need extra batteries my Royobies.
Yes, with a 4Ah battery. Here's a link... homedepot.sjv.io/6emLjN
How long the battery last?
I have a Congo African Grey named Chico. He makes a considerable mess. now I find myself thinking this vacuum might be perfect to dedicate to him.
It doesn't make sense unless you had a waste line issue and you had to get rid of the mess including the buckets.
Weathertech, send this Man a set of mats...
Yes, 100%! 😂🙌
Will the hose fit most power tools, for the sawdust?
It seems like a universal size and fits the things I tried.
When’s the next livestream
Probably a week from Tuesday, 8pm. Are you around then?
I'm thinking about making a consistent schedule for every other Tueday, 8pm.
That would be great for cleaning out a pellet grill…
Good to know. I'm always looking at getting one of those grills. I also want a small Blackstone griddle.
Hey mark Thomas
Hey Jeremy!
This vacuum I found doesn’t have the suction power of the craftsman 5 gallon.
That's true. It's benefit is being portable and able to store in the bucket.
So i cannot make a bee removal with this vac because this battery have no power
I think the track guide is the best way to ensure perfect results. I hope to get a dedicated video up on that soon.
