    You are a GREAT reviewer! I didn't know that you are a vacuum cleaner technician. Your delivery is quirky and well spoken and filled with a ton of personal technician experience.
    THIS video has one little draw-back, if I may say so -- but that's constructive criticism. When I opened this video and saw 56:09 min., I said to myself "uh-oh." I then realized that this is a GENERAL Shark Navigator review, not covering just one model. But most folks, in this age of quickies, are not prepared to sit down for an entire hour FOR JUST ONE REVIEW VIDEO, and then they will presumably want to watch more reviews AND THEN they have to READ a ton of reviews on Amazon and elsewhere, to arrive at a purchase decision.
    So, my suggestion is, in the future set yourself a length limit -- and split up a review by concept. I am merely at the 21:00 min mark, and you covered 4 vacuum cleaners (incl. the bag one).
    In my experience, people can digest 10 to 15 mins, like a music video, but when it comes to, let's say 30 minutes, you're definitely running into a wall. Then again, because you're a lively, knowledgeable and engaging reviewer, they may just hang in there. 😅
    One more suggestion: at 12:54 min. -- a head-strap camera, like a GOPRO, would REALLY help. You'd have both hands AND you're filming what you're looking at.
    4:46 min. THIS is why you should buy a SHARK vacuum cleaner.
    43:26 min. THIS is an important piece of information! I would not have known that: "You need to RECLINE IT to make the brush start spinning."
    49:52 min. Reiterating 4:46 min. -- the message here is: DO NOT REGISTER YOUR SHARK upon purchase! Wait until something goes wrong and then register your product, and the warranty (5 years?) starts at that very point of registering!

      Thank you for the feedback! I always appreciate constructive criticism. On the note of the videos length, I've been trying to streamline my reviews over the past few years and make them more palatable. However, I make an effort for my reviews to be In-Depth, meaning that a potential buyer can, watch this all the way through and know everything there is to know about this machine, leaving no stone unturned. The idea being that this can be the one-stop shop to learn about the product, and not need to spend an hour reading and deciphering reviews from dozens of other people that may still result in important information not being revealed, which would only frustrate the customer. It's a delicate balancing act between making the video not be too long, while also still providing all the important information that many other reviewers miss and neglect to include or talk about. I'm still trying my best to optimize my reviews in this way. Again, Thank you for the kind feedback!

    I was like you. I was just going off what other collectors said and I hated Sharks because of that. My mother in law gave me her old NV752 model Shark because it wasn’t sucking. The filters were just clogged. Cleaned them out and it honestly works great. After using it as my main vacuum for awhile, I come to actually enjoy it. It’s a powered lift away so I can use the head with the pod detached, and it’s very useful for getting under my bed. Not sure how much longer the motor has on it, but as long as it keeps trucking, I’ll still use it. I still prefer my bagged vacs, but I still really like using the Shark.

    FABULOUS REVIEW
    My first vacuum cleaning that isn’t a canister model Electrolux. Hate the Shark a lot less after watching your review which demonstrated how to maneuver it while vacuuming.
    The dirt cup has to be continually emptied even though it’s practically empty. A small clump of pet hair will form just at the max line.
    Ohhh…where do I search for that turbo brush.
    Will be back.

  • @margarettroche2594
    @margarettroche2594 Рік тому

    Love your superior review. I have the NV 352. How do I find that turbo brush accessory?
    This was my first Shark ever. I grew up with nothing but Electrolux and I agree with you about bagged debris. My Electrolux was badly damaged and unable to be salvaged. Saw flash sale for the NV 350 and ordered it. HATED it until I saw your review in which you covered maneuverability. Yes, I watched you actually vacuuming forever!
    Also, I am a petite female with occasional shoulder pain. My Electrolux glided effortlessly.
    What does aggravate me though, is that pet hair does form a clump near the max line but the container is practically empty. I had to keep emptying it, MANY MANY times.
    I will be back to give you more of my experience with this new, to me, vacuum cleaner.

    honestly I like the quality and features of the sharks, my only problem is its high maintenance and getting parts are hard to get and brush rolls. filter and dust cup set up is annoying to me. Hoover seems to be better with parts and supplies. I do prefer bagged vacuums for me personally.

    I always thought these Navigators are the best sharks. They are in my opinion better built than the powered lift away sharks and they clean much better than duo clean and zero m. They also have some parts available for these machines as well.

    Is the Walmart version compatible with all the same attachments/accessories as the purple one? It doesn't come with a crevice tool, so I'm trying to figure out if I can order the onboard dusting brush and crevice set meant for NV352 and have it be compatible with the Walmart model.

    I think the biggest problem with Shark, and especially the Lift Away, at least from my contact with it, is people DO NOT care for these. Hell, the previous owner of mine used it without ANY pre-motor filters, JUST the HEPA filter. They are THRASHED. I immediately cleaned mine as much as I could with a few wet wipes and some drying, as I try to care about and for the well being of my tools.
    Versus my pops’ old Bissell, which I HATED, and my mum’s old bagged Kenmore Progressive canister, which continues to spit dirt and fine dust and small objects directly on my leg, the first clean with my Navigator vindicated me. I was genuinely grinning like an idiot, dancing around my living room. Even with the hose slightly broken on the floor nozzle, it sucked up EVERYTHING. The amount of dust I actually got picked up had me audibly laugh out loud. I had never had or used a vacuum that sucked up that much from a tiny space. For $10, I absolutely LOVE this thing. It’s getting the ABSOLUTE best of care in my hands. I will buy it’s replacement parts, and attachments, and give it regular cleans to keep it in good shape for hopefully years to come. :)

    How is filtration on these vacuums they call it suction seal technology

    • @harisakhtar8372
      @harisakhtar8372 3 роки тому +2

      Shark’s filtration, also known as their suction seal technology is great, I have used the Lift Away XL that’s similar to the models in Intellitech’s video up until November of 2020, I have not suffered from allergies. However, as you wash the foam filters along with the others (not mentioning the HEPA because those are not washable), then your machine can last long and deliver fresh air to your house.

    • @harisakhtar8372
      @harisakhtar8372 3 роки тому +2

      Adding on to their suction seal technology, it captures 99.9% of harmful particles from the air and it goes into the vacuum. As a result, the HEPA filter would then release purifying air as you vacuum your house. It’s called this because the purpose of their machines is to prevent unhealthy particles and not even let one of them be released into the air that impacts your breathing.
