Is This The Best TV Show In Years? (The Traitors UK Season 3)

- Another year is here, and with it another series of The Traitors UK! As with last year, I enjoyed this series and now I'm here to share my thoughts about it! This series was seen on average by 9.2 million when each episode was airing - that's 13.4% of the UK population which in this day and age is crazy!
Once again, join us for the next 20 minutes or so as we take a look at The Traitors for the third time, and look into what makes this show so special even three series' in now!

the danganronpa/traitors mix is a FAT jumpscare LMAO - great to see someone discussing the season tho, i think the cast was banger and bar the seer held some of the greatest twists/moments yet. i would love to see the seer make a return earlier in a season just for the sake of the drama it produced and for a bigger group could throw in real divides for traitors to exploit
Mhm! I think the Seer earlier on would be interesting, since someone confirmed as a Faithful is either a free kill/smart recruit, so I think it'd cause a lot of chaos as people really wouldn't want to be picked even if they're Faithful.
I love traitors and I was so happy to find this video! I love long form content to so i would love to see a lonnnnggg retrospective on all of the series! (Even it it's just the UK ones)
I do have other videos covering the first two seasons that are about the length of these ones if that interests you! Alternatively, there's a multi-hour deep dive into Series 1 by the user 'pidovecraft' which is really good!

thank you for the kind words! again, I highly suggest that multi-hour video on Series 1, IMO it's the best piece of content there is about the traitors - swear i've rewatched it 3/4 times already.! (i agree, there never is enough traitors content!)
I think the only way the seer can work with the final five is if everyone is handed a letter of whom they wish to know about and then whoever is the seer receives a letter with that person's identity.
Oooh, I like that! I think having it be a vote or publicly announced could make it a bit fairer. I get what they were going for by having it be revealled in a secret meeting, but that way just put way too much heat onto both who took part in it!
Personally I preferred season 2 but the simple hype and seeing how the cast members acted bts and on social media was really funny (also in your confessional I liked how your occupation was internet yapper and you were a “crewmate”)
I think on the whole I also liked Season 2 just a little more, but this one was almost just as good! Plus as you said, seeing the cast on TikTok as it aired also made things way more fun! Decided to have a bit of fun w/ the confessional scenes since it's not every day you get to do something like that, glad you liked them!
its quite unfair comparing a season to season 2 because you can't really get much better than season 2

Same I liked season 2 a bit more I don’t think u can get much better than season 2 and s2 was peak in season 3 they messed a few things up like not being able to review their identity when voted out in fire pit and the seer made it a bit worse than season 2 bcs in the last episode there both fighting over who’s right about her being a traitor and her being a faithful

Both are just as good imo! Honestly, I love the murder in plain sight twists, especially last seasons! Feels like I'm watching a mini Danganronpa chapter as the Faithfuls try and piece together the how and who of the previous night.
See, my only issue with The Traitors this season... was the british public.
This is seemingly the most miserable I've ever seen people online, and the amount of raw hate Leanne (and to a lesser extent, Jake) has gotten is ASTRONOMICAL and it just isn't... okay. I think the brirish public aren't fully ready for fully edited competition reality television yet.
This! At the end of the day, the people who take part in the show are just that - people. I saw something similar about Joe last night, it's fine to have players you like and dislike but some of the stuff I've seen online too is just taking it too far.
I'm pretty sure that's why another one of Studio Lambert's shows; The Circle was cancelled a few years back. The third series had one contestant in particular that got a lot of grief online, to the point I think Channel 4 put out a statement about it.
It's fine to get invested in shows! But I do think people do need to take a step back and realize that these are real people, often with little to no experience in the limelight, that they're talking about!

The danganronpa parallels are really strong. (Or maybe our brains are just permanently fried from danganronpa..)

Our brains are definitely fried from Danganronpa, but the similarities are there! I even hid Monokuma in the thumbnail for funsies! Next series if they have a murder mystery episode that worked within the show's format I could be like, very very happy (though it probably won't happen!)
Linda may in fact be Hagakure, she's even the oldest out of the group! And wait... Linda leaves in episode 7, and 7/10 of Yasuhiro's predictions end up being wrong... We may be onto something here.

I adore Traitors UK... and season 3 hits the right nails of theirs heads (for me) Edit: I wanted Alexander to win it... and He is single... and running like a pony.... :))))
The show peaked at the pennultimate episode. There shouldnt have been a recruitment of a traitor in Freddie that late in the game and the "Seer" twist shouldnt have been in there either. It would of been amazing to see if Charlote could make it to the end
I agree that Ep 11 was the best of the season! I was 50/50 on Freddie's recruitment since I had an issue with the traitors recruiting Ross so late last season, and that was earlier by comparison! It can feel like good Faithful gameplay leads them to be punished since it gives Ultimatums to the traitors which give a recruit and murder.
I understand they'll want to make season finales feel unique, but I hope whatever they do next series is a bit better executed than the Seer since it felt like a foregone conclusion. Felt like until that point it could've gone any way, but the moment Frankie won the Seer she wasn't going to win, and when she picked Charlotte I think she dragged her down with her regardless of what roles they were.
Ngl if they actually worked together Minah and Charlotte would have had good chances of winning together
From what we saw I'd say that was Minah's plan! Ofc, Charlotte had no way to know Minah actually wanted to go to the final with her hence why she worked to get rid of her, but in the event she hadn't done that I think they could've both ended up splitting the money!
