    Man I'm so close to getting myself a Street Scrambler, but I'm not quite there yet.
    So I'm just jealously going around UA-cam looking at other people having fun on theirs. :'(
    You've got a new sub!
    Also I see you tucking that sneaky Witcher 3 music in the background. haha
    Rubber side down brother!

    Enjoyed all your videos and you have certainly proved the ability of the previous street scrambler you had I just wanted some help on choosing luggage eg number if kreiga bags and sizes for touring make and size of the dry bag and make and size of the single touring bag designed for the street scrambler. I have decided to swap my tiger 800 xrt for the new 900 as less power but great for the lakes and dales 👍 look forward to your reply and future bids re 1200 best Regards Alan from Lancashire

      Alan, this is the longest time ever it has ever taken for a reply but. best size for kriega bags in my opinion is a main 20 ltire and 2 10 litres. you can buy that as a combo kit and its absolutley brilliant. had them over 5 years now and still going strong!!

    Good vid bud. Amounted to not much but you under-rate yourself as a communicable presenter, and the sweet notes of your bike underneath don't hurt. Liked it. Cheers.

    As part of my police motorbike training course back in 1986 we spent one day going through worse trails than this up the side of a mountain on police bikes. Honda CX 500's that weigh a ton on regular road tyres. Once those bikes lean over a certain angle they are going down no matter what. One guy nearly drove over a cliff. Can imagine if I said oh that looks a little too muddy for me. Id be sent home from the course in ignominy. I laughed at the impossibility of it all at the start and thought it was a joke. But it can actually be done even on monster bikes like that.

    Do you miss anything about the Street Scrambler now you're on the 1200XE?

      I love my 1200 as it is a better bike but I do miss the street scrambler alot. I loved it, it was my first new motorcycle i did 10000 miles on it and went all over the place. Alot ofgood memories on that bike.

      @@KrisMOTO23 What made you "upgrade" (?) from the 900? I'm beginning to think the bikes are so different that "upgrade" is the wrong term.

    • @KrisMOTO23
      @KrisMOTO23  4 роки тому +1

      @@LTFRFireman It was pretty much the capabilty and the performance of the 1200.
      if the 900 had the similar offroad capabilty of the 1200 I probably woudlnt of changed. But I wanted more than that bike could give me. And the 1200 XE especially ticks all my boxes.

      @@KrisMOTO23 what do you think about the XC vs the XE? I want the XE, but I wonder if the seat height will be a problem as I won't offroad it that much.

    The condition of your trail was the same as mine,,the council blamed it on SUVs ,,of course it was not it was tractors and heavy trialors,then the councilors banned bikes and suvs....then repaired it and of course tractors did it again,,you just can,t win...

    • @KrisMOTO23
      @KrisMOTO23  6 років тому

      yeah unfortunately that's just how it goes. It was the same when I used to do a lot of x-country hiking some of the trails and footpaths would be completely wrecked due to tractors. ya win some ya loose some.

    Look up some other scrambler videos and see what type of tracks these bikes can take. You’re the problem, not the bike

    • @KrisMOTO23

      I know my bike and I know the capabilities of it. Look up some of my other offroad videos Ive pretty much pushed the limits of the scrambler without destroying it. Another rider might have just gone for it and been ok, personally I didn't want to take that risk. Because my bike is my favourite and most expensive possession I didn't really feel like potentially dumping it down a 4ft crater filled with water. no thanks.
