Medical studies in Germany [Deaconess Foundation Hospital Speyer - UMFST-UMCH teaching hospitals]

Every year, up to 150 students are given the opportunity to begin their medical studies in Germany at Universtity Targu Mures Medical Campus Hamburg (UMCH) - without a perfect high school degree or having to wait. The studies at UMCH’s Campus in Hamburg take place in English and last a total of 6 years. The practical part, which takes place in various teaching hospitals throughout Germany, is carried out in German/English.
In this video Melina visits the Deaconess Foundation Hospital Speyer near Heidelberg. She gets an overview of the intensive care unit and cardiology and learns what makes teaching at this UMFST-UMCH teaching hospital so special and what tasks the UMCH students can take on during their clinical internships in the various specialist departments.
The Deaconess Foundation Hospital Speyer offers excellent medical specialty care in 11 departments. In 2018, over 48,000 patients were treated here.
