- The plaintiff sold a car to his girlfriend’s friend, but he gave her the car and title before she paid him in full. He’s still waiting for his money, so he’s suing. The defendant argues the car is in terrible shape and requires tons of work. She’s countersuing for lost wages and car repairs.

Shoot my first car I bought was $2200 and I dogged Thar car out for 4 years! I was so irresponsible and broke a lot, so it missed tune-ups, oil changes, and I ran that girl on e many more times than I could count. Sometimes you get lucky. However, thanks to my dad for teaching me how to buy a used car and what to look for during the test drive.

That jerkette has a lot of nerve. She’s afraid he’s going to “steal” a car that she stopped paying him for? Even if it was his intent to take the car back, wouldn’t that be called a repossession? So who’s the real thief here? The girlfriend needs to choose a better caliber of friends.

This plaintiff is a standup guy. She got a good running Honda Civic that had a few issues which is expected of an older car. He was even willing to help her fix those issues, but she refused to bring the car to him because she was “busy”. All she keeps saying is she was worried about him taking the car, but he couldn’t take the car because she already had the title.

It really bugs me when someone buys something old for a low price and expects it to be perfect. THERE ARE GOING TO BE PROBLEMS with it! The only thing having a mechanic look at it will to is tell you what the problems are so you can judge for yourself if you want to buy it. Window doesn't roll down? So what???
