That’s what makes them so bad. They don’t think they’re in any way evil. But their whole ethos is repugnant to every nation in the Westlands and to the viewer as well!
Really glad it helped. I did this before season 2 launched because I thought there might well be some burning questions left unanswered by the first three episodes! Let me know if there’s anything else you’d like covering?
Great summary! I hope we get to see some of the beasts, at least the raken... it appears there are some flying creatures in one aerial view of Falme in ep. 5, so keeping my hope up.
I’m hoping they’ve just kept the more exotic beasts back for the finale and what promises to be an epic battle. It’s also possible they’re holding them back for round two. Either way, in a world with Shadowspawn (will only trollocs and myrddraal so far) and Ogier. I don’t think they’re going to avoid the Seanchan menagerie for long.
If there is one group I HATE the most in WoT its the Seanchan! My stomach churns and I get soo angry when they appear in the novels and now the TV show. A vile set of people!
Right when they appeared in the show i thought the blond 12 year old sending people to their own deaths was a princess or somethin it never struck me that she was a slave. She was so powerful i just couldn’t believe it when i heard it
They treat women who channel as chattel. I know this is fiction but it’s art like imitating reality when for some time and still part of humanity unleashed their cruelty on our brothers and sisters for the sake of power or economic and political strength. Truly disgusting.
@TrustinHewhoknows the most horrific stories most often have an element of truth to them. That’s what makes this so awful as we recognise it for what it is.
The fact that they are organized into an actual state makes them more frightening than any group or villian we have seen so far.
