@@stephanzammit I would really love to see the the full tutorial from making the composition settings and all those goodies when making that grid and that transparent text at the intro that would help at least me a lot! thanks again
Wow, that was a super cool tutorial, a little fast in some parts (for me) for example, the way you created the beginning of the grid, but overall it was really good, thank you!
Thank you for your comment! Glad it was helpful! I also really appreciate the feedback :) I try to balance between showing everything to keeping the videos at a decent length. Its quite a challenge! Since there's so many things to show.
Yeah, I know what you mean, you can't cater for all levels at the same time, you're doing very well though, keep it up and good luck with the channel 🙏

Thank you so much! I am using a Mac Ultra M1. I love the After Effects performance on Apple silicone, I was very positively impressed when I made the switch.
This is actually a simple set up, where all the discs are linked/ parented to a null layer that is positioned in the middle of the compositions. Then the Null Layer is simply rotated and it rotates all the discs with it.
Thank you for your comment. This is using a displacement map technique, its a bit complex to explain over a comment, but maybe I will try to cover this in a future video.
Hi, thank you for your comment :) Glad this was helpful! :) This is just a simple parenting to a null layer in the middle. Similar to what I have done at the start fo the video with the 2 circles, but in that case I linked all the circles with a null layer, then I just animate that null layer's rotation.
Yes Definitely. In that case you wouldn't be able to extrude (turn 3d) the images. Unless you change them to shape layers and then extrude those. But the bending effect is still possible.

Thank you for your comment! That is actually a simple Ellipse in 3D, which when bended with this technique, creates that symbol. As for the glass material, I have just made a tutorial that explains how to create a glass material on objects, using the displacement effect. Amazing Tutorial Thank You if i could ask 1 question tho how did you make the shapes transparent
Thanks! Sure! Forgot to mention it in the video! Just lower the opacity value.. give it something like 75% opacity and you're done 🙂
AMAZING VIDEO!!!!!!!111
Thanks!
0:06 to achieve the translucency, can i use blend mode 🤔
yes, you can use something like an overlay blend mode or screen.
Great video, would love to have more! can you guide which GPU,CPU and Ram you have in the system?
Thank you! Im using a Mac - M1 Studio Ultra.
Great!!!!!
Thank you so much!
I hope you will become the next super AE star like Andrew Kramer.

can you please show as in-depth tutorial of how you did the rotation in 9:25? :)

@@stephanzammit thank you! 🫶🏼
Thanks for the helpful content! And how to make objects "transparent"? as you have in the preview.
Hi, thank you for your comment! Just change the opacity of the objects and lower it... something like 50% would work well.
how did you make the objects blury transparent as we can see text behind? please respond.

2:34 In my pc I can't find advanced 3d option , there is only classic 3D and cinema 4D
Hi, Advanced 3D is available from After Effects 2024 onwards. If you have an earlier version, you can use Cinema 4D, it has similar features.
Thank you so much for a great masterpiece.
I'm still new to ae, I have a question, how then did you join the circles and animate them here 9:19

There is no option to enable Advanced 3D in my after effects. I can choose only Classic 3D or Cinema 4D. Is there any way I can get Advanced 3D
This option is only available from AE 2024. In that case you can choose Cinema 4D. It will give similar results 🙂
@@stephanzammit Thanks......Really appreciate how you reply on every comment.....keep it up!!
i have AE 2024 and for some reason "advanced 3d" doesn't pop up when i go to switch between 3d rederers. help pleaseee 😭
Not sure what is the reason. Maybe you don’t have a supported GPU? You can still use the Cinema 4D option. It will give similar results
what version are you using
I am using Version 2024

@@stephanzammit Your tutorials are wonderful, I love them. The quality and creativity you have in them is so good.
Is this result possible with image layers instead of shapes for example an Instagram logo?
Yes Definitely. In that case you wouldn't be able to extrude (turn 3d) the images. Unless you change them to shape layers and then extrude those. But the bending effect is still possible.
