My old employer called me earlier this year to go work for them again and I reminded them that I was moving but they continued to pursue and I told them they would have to give me a decent increase which they have started to do as I just got a decent raise and my manager stated that there would be more to come next spring. All of this because they lost so much money after my departure a few years ago. Another content creator recently stated that success is just having a decent job with a good work life balance and being able to afford the basics. He stated that as his parents immigrated to this country and they routinely work 80 hours a week just to make ends meet. IDK but sounds like all three of us are in a good position. My father was very wealthy and after he passed during COVID I said I did not want a penny of his money as we did not get along and I wanted nothing to do with his estate which by the way continues to be tied up on probate for many many years to come.
