Hi Dara and thank you for sharing this technique 😍 if I'd like to try on a cup, the laser printed area are the one getting black on the clay piece or the ones NOT absorbing the underglaze and so remaining "white" on the surface? (I'm at first experiences with underglaze)

Great Video! Can you dip or paint an underglaze or a glaze on the piece before you add the transfer? (Depending on if the clay is leather hard or bisque). Then I assume you clear glaze over the transfers? Newbie potter here!!

Yes you can layer on underglaze first. There are so many options for variety! You are correct, after the transfer you would glaze it with a transparent glaze.

@@DaraGreen What about putting them on top of glaze on a pot that has been bisque fired?

@@lisabowman817 I technically do not recommend. Underglaze is just that- UNDERglaze :) BUT with that said it will not hurt anything if you try it. You might come up with something cool. I am all about breaking rules!

Thanks for the video! Did you use 80g/m2 paper (regular printing paper?)
