Just ordered one yesterday. Haven't touched a cube since 2017. Magnetic cubes didn't really even exist back then. Funny when I look back everyone used to say magnets are not the future since they made the cube heavier. I mained a valk 3, it's around 82g. And now these new maglev ball-core uv coated blah blah blah cubes are lighter than that. Super excited to have this new cube. Had a lot of difficulty choosing between this, the weilong wrm v9 and the Tornado v3 but then decided maybe I'd just get the cheapest one and see what the future holds for me.
All three are really good choices, but the Moyu Weilong V9 and the X-Man Tornado V9 suit a specific turning style that's different to the Moyu RS3M V5. I have a bunch of different cubes, and I sometimes go from one to another - usually the Super RS3M and the RS3M V5. Ozymandias uses a MoYu Weilong V9 and it's really fast, so much so we had to slow it down with lube.
The V5 is less blocky and turns a bit better. It's also a little smaller. The Super RS3M doesn't auto align as well. However, the Super RS3M is cheaper. And don't get the Super RS3M V2. It's not worth it. Also, don't forget to subscribe!
Hi, thanks for subscribing. The ball-core has the core magnets in the ball behind the plastic. So, you're asking the same thing. "magnets in the ball" = "core magnets". The ball-core also has maglev and is UV coated. There's no reason to get anything else.

@@OzymandiasFamilyFunYeah nowadays all cubes perform so well that it comes down to personal preference, style and feel.
I love the comparisons - very professional work there.
Thanks, but I think you might be biased in your opinion.
@@OzymandiasFamilyFun nah - I'd say if I thought they were lacklustre, imprecise or poorly done. You know it.
I've ordered this, can't wait for it to arrive now! Great to see it in action
Hey, thanks for the comment. Which model did you order?
@@OzymandiasFamilyFun I also ordered the ball core variant
Jst ordered mine and its a heaven cube the robot is a bit funny😂😂
I actually like the robot. So much that I ordered the 4x4 Robot Meilong as well. Cubes are supposed to be fun.
Should i buy this or the moyu super rs3m ball core with maglev?

@@OzymandiasFamilyFun got the rs3m v5 because of the uv and ball core, as well as the awesome robot case. coming in 3 days!

Not much of a review of the cube it self.
Yeah, I realised that after I finished. I've got a bigger MoYu one in the works. This is more of an unboxing. Or, un-roboting.
