Oh jesus christ, Dimension Shift and Zangetsuto both early, that's absolutely bonkers for a randomizer.
I ADORE this game. On my 4th playthrough for 100 percent. It's just so much fun. Probably going to do a couple more with shoes/guns before I try this rando.
Big agree on how Gebel should've been made playable. Also weird to me that Alfred was never playable; Bloodless feels like a really strange choice compared to those two.
I see you too were confused by the fact that the first weapon chest in the game is actually a key item chest, even though the weapons in it are basically just starter weapons.
I was just mindboggled when someone explained it to me too, it made no sense until I realized it's about the chest it comes out of rather than what it actually is.

i know this is an older video but, i messed around with mods on Nexus and found a HiRes Music mod that changes the entire games ost to Symphony of the Night
6:20 Don't worry, I have the same issue in this game. I'm doing another run right now, and have screwed up platforms quite a few times because I just couldn't see them against the backgrounds. I think it's an issue they could've worked harder to solve in playtesting.
Skip a boss. Call him a gimmick. Then off to fight Bael. The unskippable gimmick.
Jup got me to try Bloodstained again. Tried randomizer, had to do whole Minerva without any useful shard or weapon. xD

I'm almost sure this was a potential WR seed... Kinda sucks you got it with zero practice.
When I first played this game, I felt it was half-baked. I agree on the visual clarity, and not only that but there's always a clash of styles. The gameplay felt SotN though, and I more hope that they make a second game that's better and more polished. I wanted to like this game more than I did, but I don't necessarily dislike it.
That's odd to me because this game feels more fleshed out than a lot of games in the genre to me
Streamer was given late game weapons, armor and some of the best mobility shards in the game and the chat asks them to farm?

Runs at 60 fps on pc, but on console is 30fps.
