Tati I don't like this style of filming. I like it when you sit down without makeup and apply the makeup while talking. I hope this isn't considered hate I'm just saying what I like to watch :/

Hello from Czech Republic:) Dermacol products were developed years and years ago as strong coverage product for covering healthy issues as rosacea, strong pigmentation, scars, acne etc. And as coverage makeup for the actors. That is why it couldn't be "natural" looking makeup. You look amazing. Thanks.

I remember my grandma using a super heavy coverage Dermacol, I think this product/brand goes waaay back and I think it was very popular in Soviet countries

She looks like she smells good. You know? Like she always looks so clean and perfect Idk. Like channel or something light and fruity. I look like i smell like an ashtray mixed with cheap perfume so watching her videos makes me feel a okay

Asking a guy's opinion on how your makeup looks should be considered as a beauty hack. Seriously. Since guys don't know a thing about makeup (for example, my boyfriend calls my Artis Oval 7 "a fancy, overpriced horse toothbrush"), their opinions are a little more objective and straightforward. I swear, my brother, who is as straight as can be and who does not know a thing about makeup, will be the first to comment if my foundation looks horrible and if my brows are a disaster that day. And, I'll be damned, he's usually right.

it almost looks like she's in front of a green screen! Like she's using a still image of her bathroom, instead of actually filming in there....it's cool looking, but a little weird too.

This foundation is more for covering skin defects such as scarring, birthmarks, discolouration etc, so It's more a camouflage make up. That could make the difference between feeling confident enough to leave the house or not. It contains 50% pigment, that could be why it was dry towards the end of the day. I think for how it performs for the people that need it, it's a truly amazing product.
But I guess someone with extremely dry skin can't wear this, can it? I'm curious and I just want to know if it's worth purchasing or not.
LadyLilithke you most certainly could, I actually think it performs better on dry skin since it’s so emollient. I have pretty dry skin and I love it. It’s so emollient that no matter how dry your skin is you would have to use some type of setting powder over top, I recommend the Cover FX Illuminating Powder cause it’s so lightweight and adds to the glow ;)
It could be good for covering tattoos also.
Mix it with moisturizer and you can wear it every day.

I have noticed Tati doesn't appear to ever, ever reply to comments (I've only been watching for a couple of months though so I can't say with 100% certainty)...but if I EVER saw a comment worth replying to, this would be it! I feel like a lot of these full coverage foundations (i.e. kat von d, dermacol) look really patchy on combination to dry skin, especially if your skin is not smooth with any acne scars etc and/or in humid weather. Pretty ironic how these full coverage foundations don't work on skin that need them. Marc Jacobs remarcable foundation and cover fx are exceptions though. Just my opinion from being a sephora addict, but again, what do i know :P

helen Perez Personally I'm still not a fan because I currently live in hot weather, and walking under the hot sun really melts heavy cream formulas right off. But she made me tempted to try this foundation again, maybe when I return to California this December when I'm not sweating buckets all the time.
Avril drummer I got two samples of the Kat Von D, and I had the same problem: it made my pores look bad. I'm a makeup artist so I'm familiar with many ways to combat those effects but no luck with the Kat Von D foundation SO FAR.
Hmm... Maybe that's why when I wear Dermacol and leave the house for a big day at work my face is already counting down to self destruction. 😬 (from Australia ❤)

How about we just be grateful that she's still putting videos out? So many youtubers would just disappear until they got settled in their new place, Tati is doing her best to make sure we still have content! It may not be perfect but at least it's something! This make-up cover is mostly used in theatre and while filming. I tried to use it on daily basis, but it was actually a mistake because my pores were sooo jammed and i had zits. Now i use this on special occasions when i need my make up to stay cool all night. It is true that its not perfect when you have dry skin, but when you use little more of it on the spot which is dry, it's okay. Don't forget that this cover was made for film studios, not for daily usage. Dermacol has lot of great foundations and i personally love them, and all their products are so good in my opinion. But i loved this video xoxo

Kimberly Painter Well Dermacol is actually the name of the Czech make up brand. I was really surprised, when I found out Tati even know about this product :D So I'm not sure how she got it. Maybe on their official website? Because I highly doubt, that it is sold anywhere else except for Czech Rep.

Hey Tati! After watching your video I bought this foundation and as a person with oily skin, I love it! No real texture issues for me and virtually no creasing or anything nasty with it. It has incredible coverage and was able to completely skip my concealer. If any of you have oily skin I totally recommend this!!

Miranda Weiffenbach congratulations!!!!!! my favorite foundation is loreal infallible!! its affordable and perfect for both types of skin because of different formulas. if you wanna go higher end i would suggest the hourglass stick foundation or born this way by too faced! i know im not tati but i do know a bit about makeup, hope this helped :)
depends on your skin type and the coverage youre looking for. for oily skin and good coverage but not cakey looking, tarte's rainforest of the sea is really good as well as smash box photofinish (but i think that one works for dry too). for all skin types and still, no cakiness, i think make up forever's waterblend foundation is beautiful and it has buildable coverage.
I love the L'oreal Lumi Foundation so far , the original one and the cushion one .. they last for so long
if your wedding is outside use Estee lauder double wear or either lancome 24 hr tint idol. I got married 2weeks ago and my makeup stayed flawlessly. Also if you can get a makeup artist. It takes a load off your mind. Trust me.

Is that dryness or caking? When that happens to me I thought it was my oils separating the foundation. When it happens my face feels dry and tight but is very shiny. So frustrating.

What if you put some type of oil on your beauty blender to blend it out? I saw someone else (can't remember who) do it and it helped with the dryness.
It's a good idea, but it can sometimes mess with the formula of the foundation
what I've been doing to avoid that dry look is to use an cheap aloe vera gel spray I bought at the drugstore.. I was suffering from acne red marks and I read aloe could diminish them. I tried it on top of my makeup and it's the best setting spray ever for less than 5 euroa
Stephanie Gisselle I do this daily with my urban decay all nighter foundation, it tends to have dry patches when I wear it alone but when I use a drop of tarte Maracuja oil on my beauty blender or mix it with the foundation it blends out beautifully and does not get dry or patchy throught the day.

Tati used to have cystic acne and went on Accutane when she was younger. She's said before it's taken her years to get her skin to the level it's at now.
Trust me it will work, I used to use this when I was 16 on my port wine stain and it covered it with one layer. However, it feels and looks absolutely disgusting on the skin
+Nathsvoe true! My sister had cystic acne and she used this as foundation for important events, and it covered wonderfully! But it's also true that it felt icky apparently.

I live in Prague, we have Dermacol on every corner, ironically enough, after playing with several products, I completely lost my faith in this brand. I haven't tried this product yet, I had their 24h foundation, it was too cakey for me.
Nino Samsonadze Já si myslím, že tohle je nejlepší produkt od Dermacolu (taky Dermacol moc nemusím jako značku).. ale na každodenní použití je to jen když se smíchá s BB creamem, krémem nebo podobně. Je opravdu hodně extrémní..
I don't like this brand either, their only succesfull product is this high coverage concealer/foundation
