    I'm so glad you didn't make me watch you unscrew and re-install those bolts in real time. Great video!

    His diff breather vent tube is probably clogged and made his seals blow out. He should do the diff mod , cost about 10 dollars. I always take out the slider pins and clean them up well and re do some lube on them.

    The customer probably doesnt realize that the rear brakes will eventually seize up from the axle oil and heat. Good Video

    I'm having a problem . My rear pad will not slip into the caliper? Those 3 prongs wont squeeze enough ? Is it okay to use a C clamp or Caliper Compressor tools to force the pad into place ?

      Yes just be careful and slow, look carefully and also make sure you match up the new pad backing plate to the old pad backing plate, just to make sure you have the correct brake pads, if they are correct, then just looked carefully and use a tool to carefully squeeze those prongs

    Do yo need to lubricate those two slider pins?

    • @APDTY
      @APDTY  4 роки тому +1

      Yes you should always clean and lube the slide pins both where the caliper bolts slide and where the brake pads slide on the brackets.

    I cant believe he denied the axle seal....Owner seems to be asking to replace differential. I caught my axle seal leaking just bit late and the spider gears were damaged.

    Question...My Rotor on the rear feels lose and free to be pulled off but feels like it is caught on something.
    I don't want to force too much in fear of breaking something behind the hub.
    Any ideas?
    I live in the rust belt and have a Nissan Titan 2013 Pro 4x

      The inside/backside of the rotor houses the parking brake. Is the parking brake applied?

    • @deanl7085

      No the break is not on. It almost feels springy when I pull on the rotor. Is it possible that the break has rusted to the rotor? I don't want to force it off and do damage to the emergency break assembly.
      Thanks for the response!
