As you send the “package” to Keyes, he asks you “get on spartan”. You say “No. I have the gun.” And then you destroy the covenant carrier. And the POA leaves. 6 is left alone to fight viciously alone through covenant forces. As he fights, his visor begins to break from the mass shooting hitting his armor. This music starts to kick in letting you know that you will fail this mission, the kid behind the mask will not come back alive. “May god help us all.”
It began with light infantry composed of a handful of jackals, grunts. Fodder. They failed to kill him. No biggie, they think. They send a fireteam of elites. Again, they failed to kill him. You rinse and repeat this cycle enough times, and the Covenant were made aware that this wasn't an ordinary soldier. Six continued to slay anything that wasn't human on Reach's surface 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 anywhere from 3 to 6 hours, where upon the Covenant had no choice but to deploy Wraiths and various forms of air support ON TOP of entire fleets of Covenant personnel. They lost 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘴. My headcanon is that if you exclude any mass casualties that the Covenant suffered from detonating halo rings, bombing, Mac blasting, or any other heavy ordinance related engagements conducted by the Chief, Six confirmed more kills in his last stand on Reach than Chief has in his entire service career.
This is it, your last stand, Reach has fallen, and the Covenant are beginning to descend upon you. Despite all your past efforts you owe Reach nothing. You made it the Covenant's biggest pain in the ass possible, but in the end they succeed. As you watch your homeworld burn all around you, you make it your job to kill as many Covenant as possible, it isn't enough to avenge, Reach, your family, your friends, your teammates, but rather its a message to the Covenant: "This is my last fight, and I will fight to the death." Just know one thing spartan, your sacrifice will not go in vain.
Always thought the select mission screen having "Rally Point Omega" rather than it just moving forward was a rather nice touch.

@@thewooz7398 That’s why they call him the head hunter, or he was “the reaper”. . .
""Took a bit to learn how to get it, but I did. Decided that I'd do it myself since I couldn't find any on UA-cam. ""
May your efforts go viral!

Has to be the best track.
Great work, love this song and still play the games, beautifully haunting in all the right ways
La misión final por el honor :'/
Spartans never die there just missing in action
They die alright
