Hopefully, no one buys those disposable bags. They seem like a massive waste of resources, not to mention pollution. I understand these tools are a luxury and mostly plastic; however, that still doesn't excuse excessive waste on top of the usefulness of the tool. I by no means want to understate the time, work, and quality of the review. Amazing video and breakdown of the product's features! Thank you!
Finally some common sense: while all the other brands use 100% paper bags, Narwal decided to use plastic bags that intergrade themselves with the HEPA filter, which makes the problem even worse than it already is. More plastic waste, and you have to pay more for all the components that hold them together. A really stupid solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
Would the lutron switches be a good choice to control my outdoor lights at my front and patio doors? How old is olfor a home that may need the older model lutron switch? My home was built in 1992…should I get the older version of the switches?
So i was wondering, how is the edge clearance? Our door edges are around 2.5 CM high, and even though our old romba 980 is on the older side, it has annoyed me since we got it that it could not climb the edges.
I just rewatched and I have to ask, how did you get splitting to work? at 5:26 you said you had a good initial map and then split and I'm frustrated beyond belief with Ios and Android in not being able to fix what is a one big room map.
I would have concerns regarding the company's current actions now that it possesses a complete and accurate digital footprint of the house, its objects, and, to some extent, its residents. Questions arise about what the company does with this data, where it is stored, and to whom it is sold. This isn't specifically with Narwhale, this says with regarding all of these lidar. Equipped systems that have the capability to reach the company systems. Via your phone (app) and internet access.
Got mine and I have a quick question, it seems very quiet, my previous vacuum was a Irobot and it was very loud. Is there something I am missing or it is really that quiet?
Mine showed up today and the app is leaving a ton to be desired. Multiple maps. OK, so out of the box it builds a map of whatever floor the base is on. If you want to map your 2nd floor, I dare you to find it... To add another map you must edit your existing map and on that edit page, in upper right, will be an option to have multiple maps and from there you can add a new map. But the default is to revert to teh main map and so if you want to go back, you have to repeat the above, there is no way to get to the 2nd maps except as above. And for some reason my 2nd floor app would not do the entire floor, it set up a red box and onl;y worked within the box, something it never did (set up a boundary) on the main floor. Editing maps is theoretical. My 2nd floor map was reasonable but my first floor map is one big room (kitchen in back, hallway, living room and dining room flows into kitchen) and I have been unable to make and name these rooms as the app just calls it Room 1. Trust me, my map looks like a kids drawing compared to what you showed in your video. Merging and splitting - well I've never been successful in splitting a big Room 1 into smaller named rooms, it just doesn't work. For me. (yes, latest apps and firmware). Spouse wants to simply not be app dependent, and have the device "mop kitchen" Vacuum living room" but that's not possible without the app and not possible if map cannot show boundaries of these rooms. So if my app experience mirrored yours, if my maps could look like yours, I'd be thrilled, but the poor app experience is taking a solid hardware device and making it less appealing. I'm hoping we can make my app experience mirror yours (because mapping is key to having the thing work as you want it to.) Lovely hardware, but app needs a ton more work.
i heard it has something to do with the Wifi hz…. need to change it. sorry i cant be more help, not very tech savvy. There’s reviews on amazon talking about it!
I own the Narwal Freo X Plus (the more affordable version) and use the dustbin instead of the disposable bags. It actually compresses the hair and pulls it to the side to make room for more stuff in the dustbin too. I just went to check to make sure.
@@beardfm The "Paid Promotion" tag is a distinct UA-cam feature, separate from but equally mandatory as FTC regulations. UA-cam denotes 'paid product placements', a category of content crafted for a third party in return for compensation, including complimentary products. On the hand, the FTC stipulates that disclosures regarding these free products need to be communicated both audibly (to accommodate viewers who watch without sound) and visually (via text overlay), ensuring transparency across all viewing experiences. However, in this instance, neither the UA-cam-specific "Paid Promotion" tagging nor the FTC-mandated audible and visual disclosures were adhered to, highlighting a lapse in compliance with both sets of guidelines.

Appreciate that! And I get it, plus the reusable one is very easy to manage.

They would be a great option! And the newer Lutron switches still work without a neutral so I think you're good.
Do we know what their plan is for Matter support?
I’ll reach out but I have not heard anything.
Will it allow multiple floors to be mapped?

Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day.

Dyson just came out with a robo vacuum… is their motor or suction power stronger than the Narwal?
I’ll see if I can get a unit to test!
I'd like to send me a video for a spa like only bathroom or only bedroom I don't know how I use for spa for when one place
Got mine and I have a quick question, it seems very quiet, my previous vacuum was a Irobot and it was very loud. Is there something I am missing or it is really that quiet?
It really is that quiet while running! You can increase the suction power in the app and it will get a little louder, but not much.
Wow they really went all out with that app. There’s a lot going on in there!
It's one of the nicest! Roborock's app is pretty good too, tbh
Hi just a question what is the app called?
Narwal Freo
How much price
Right now, $1,400 on Amazon: amzn.to/3xOJQDt
I wish your home map showed “secret lair staircase” or “pirate treasure”
I wish it had those!

I just got mine today
Yea it would be great if I could get mine connected to the app. So far I think it's just a $1,500 living room ornament...
It hasn't connected? Did you try a factory reset with the buttons under the robot cover?
i heard it has something to do with the Wifi hz…. need to change it. sorry i cant be more help, not very tech savvy. There’s reviews on amazon talking about it!
This video made it sound like the unit also compresses dust on the reusable dust bin which is not true, It only compresses on the disposable ones!
Really? I thought it uses the same high pressure air to make room on the reusable one too
@@beardfm It does not

Dreme x30 maps are just as good or better
Saw your map, do you live in a castle? 😂
🤫😏
Once again, the review lacks transparency regarding product sponsorship or complimentary product! Where's the FTC?
I would have included paid promotion tag if this was sponsored. It’s not.
