Same goes here. I am 71. I started skating again a few weeks ago. Believe me it's not like riding a bike, you have to learn from scratch. I found myself skating fairly well after 15 laps but I have a lot to re-learn. I was having a lot of fun while out there and plan on going back for my second session next Saturday. Now I am looking to buy skates. Perhaps I should buy crutches too.

My Mom and Dad met at a roller skating rink. My brother and sister and I all skated. Loved it. Could do the backward skate dance. Am 70 now with a new hip doubt I could do it again but love watching these videos. Brings back great memories. So glad the young are learning to enjoy this great activity.😊

Been over 15 years since i put on a pair of skates. Im about to be 44. I think its about time to dust them off again. Nothing better than flying around the rink without a care in the world

I’m 61. And I do have my skates . I haven’t been keeping up with which rinks do the older music nights . Any suggestions would be appreciated !

We are married 45 yrs..met at a skating rink when we were 16 & 17. ..the rest is history. Now 65 with health issues, I can't skate now, but your videos make us feel like we skating again. We love to watch and feel like we back to our younger days. ❤❤❤love your channel. Keep skating!!

72 yr young man here and so impressed with the style and rhythm you all have in your skating. Skated when I was in my youth and miss it. Knee replacement puts me on the side line or into the boards if I tried. Thanks for the memories and keep the rhythm going. Nice also to see all races can enjoy skating and get along. Thanks again
I am 71 and started skating again. My doctor told me I need knee replacements. I told him to give me shots, and that is working. I will do that till it does not work anymore.
@@John-s7s8s Thanks I had the cortisone shots and 5 synvisc shots but after injuring my right knee 29 yrs ago it was time for a knee replacement. Doctor said I had a lot of arthritis and I wasn’t getting any younger and the knee wasn’t getting any better. Now a year out from the replacement still having issues with a Baker Cyst in the knee area. Baker Cyst are common in knee injuries. But I’ll survive at 72. Thanks again
These rollerskating videos bring back sweet memories. Skated hard core from about 1983 till 1989. Started as a 23 year old.

At 54, I have bought a couple of new pairs of quad skates. Haven't skated in over 36 years. Getting back into it and loving it too. Been about 5 times now and remembering muscles I totally forgot about. Sore but really happy. Your never too old to get back on the horse - so to speak!

Gonna try, but not that easy at 71. And I don't think there are any rinks around here that rock that place.
I am doing the same thing .. Just got some brand new skates that are holographic with glitter purple wheels and am going to practice again.. havent skated since I was in my teens late teens early 20's now alittle older.. :)
We have LITERAL 70 and 80 year olds at our rink, they get mad respect.

It amazes me how popular skating is now if only we had UA-cam back in kalorama and seabrook days, our style of skating was and still is more slower pace.

From time I was 10 years old until I was 16 if it was Friday night or Saturday night ....I was on 8 wheels moving out ....some of the best memories of my life ....and thanks to these vlogs ....I have found fond memories from my childhood.....I am 47 now haven't been on my skates but once in last 20 years no where around where I live to skate anymore ....wheelers skating rink in cookeville Tennessee has been closed for many years now ....but as I said at one time if it was Friday or Saturday nite ....I was there.......and for the lady in pink skates with blonde hair ...I would love to skate with you ....your the main reason I have watched all these vlogs now ...very talented and smooth ....but back in the day I would have gave you a good run for your money ......been terrified of you because your so beautiful....but still would have rolled out and grooved rite along side you .....thanks for all the great memories......and glad to see people still enjoying skating ....
