    I have one in .410. A great little rabbit and quail gun. Dispatches rattlesnakes from a safe distance as well. Great video. You have a real beauty there. Mine is the nickel plated version from the 50s/60s.

    I have an arms effebi of beretta 12 gauge magnum single barrel shotgun that operates identically to this one and is for all intents and purposes the same. Beretta produces a number of different lines of this style of shotgun under different names including new production today. Mine was made in the 90s

    Effebi di F. Beretta makes these now, all in Italy. Closest version to the original.

    They have many of tem made in the 50'S until 1970 in Brazil by the old Beretta factory in Brazil, later purchased by Taurus.

      Correction: Pampa shotgun was made in all gauges except 12 - but I saw only in .410. Made from 1958 to 1979. In the last years, it was made only under order.
      An elderly gun shop owner told me that was an agreement between Rossi and Beretta: Model 412 was not sold in Southern states, while Rossi Pampa was not sold in Southeast.

    • @joaomello3578
      @joaomello3578 2 роки тому

      @@ericktamberg670 there are no Pampa shotgun ever made from Rossi. They made POMBA (PIGEON). I am from Brazil my family have a gunshop business since 1965 until today. During the late 80's Taurus acquired Rossi brand the redesigned to a totally different model and marketed by Brastech a Brazilian subsidiary import company. The Rossi POMBA has nothing to do with the Beretta model. The video here shows a beretta shotgun that also was made in Brazil By Beretta of Brasil S/A, Rossi and Beretta never had any connection or similar products. Sorry you are totally wrong.
      PAMPA NEVER EXISTED....
      POMBA YES!

    I just inherited a 16 Gauge version of this. It says pietro berretta 16 made in Italy on one side, fucile rinforzato speciale brevettato on the other side and on the top a design is engraved with the words vittoria and veritable monoblock. Id love to have more information on these along with a rough idea of value.

    Can anyone give me tips on restoring it? It has slight rust build up and scratches on the wood.
    Also a slight play when you lock it. Any help would be great!!

    How does the shell eject? My ejector does not move when barrel is folded. I may be missing a piece. I have to dig the shell out with finger nails and its a pain.

    Mine is in nice condition too, but not as nice as yours. I paid roughly 30 bucks for it. The quality of these guns is excellent, and well worth much more than even you paid. I find the barrel too short, and will hacksaw the choke off and and an extension with removable chokes. The safety on mine is behind the trigger. It looks older than yours, I would guess 1950s?
    Effebi (founded by Dr Franco Beretta) still makes this gun, and also version in O/U configuration, as well as rifles. They have a nice catalog, with many sweet guns to look at.
