Lots of confusion today regarding salvation, and how we are only saved by what Christ has done for us, and how we can't save ourself through works. Self rightoues men like to points to our performance and place themselves on a pedestal because of something they did, or or things they do not do. Salvation is only believing on Christ as savior. Let me tell you as one who was deceived by Lordship damnation for more than two decades he is right because he is standing on the promises of God, but God delivered me unto the truth.

Like the Pharisees, they are so proud of their good behavior that they resent the fact that it is not part of salvation; therefore, they refuse to accept that fact. However, they forget that we do receive rewards in Heaven for good deeds done from pure motives.
I just came across a post saying that Born Again Christian's are deluded and going to Hell ! Something about " Rightly Dividing the Bible . I felt this was very odd because is not ALL Scripture meant for our good and for instruction ... ? Northland and Pastor Cucuzza are a great blessing to many .
Can someone PLEASE explain what James , Chapter 2 , verses 20 to 26 is all about ? It appears to directly disagree with Ephesians 2 , verses 8 and 9 . This is the " Elephant in the Room " for me , or it would be if I did not take Jesus Christ at His word in John Ch.6 , verses 37 to 40 . Thanks .
James was writing to believers concerning their lives as disciples. He wasn’t writing about eternal life. They already had that via trusting in Christ as savior. They were already justified…declared righteous…so James is urging them to grow in holiness; to become spiritually-mature believers.
