My first character ever was a dexless bandit. ❤️

That was me :') Even managed to use a reverse lampion (lvl 120) as a dexless because I had +36 dex overall, scarlion helmet and HT pendant!
But then the Big Bang attacked and I perished not to be seen even until this day!

I remember one day back in like 06/07 I was off sick from school and I was playing Maplestory. I ran into someone at (I want to say) Mushroom Shrine and they had a sky blue snowboard. We began talking and eventually she gave me the sky blue snowboard, and then another one which was a level 25 one I want to say? Don't remember how much we talked, or even if we ever talked again after that day, but I still have those two items on my original character and think of that player whenever I see them
Funfact: You can STILL buy some of the old items like the fish spear on @ Zipangu Showa Town.
The Fish Spear wasn't just used because it looked cool, it also gave accuracy, which back then, on a low level warrior needing to do KPQ, was HUGE. The fact that you could actually hit things without pumping all your stats into dex was amazing.

Shinobi bracers, lvl 55 claw. Was the best claw a dexless sin could get.
I remember bamboo hats were a must back then. And doing that quest line was a pain in the ass!

Some of these items are so expensive now! In Khroa in GMS Palattes are about $35 USD, and blue maple bandanas are like $20 USD
I have a lot lot of old items I've collected over the years! I have every snowboard including Super Snowboard, every surfboard, every tube, every flower, every colored bandana, every colored WGs, football steel helmet (from 2005 guild event), waterworks cape, fruity bamboo, bone helm, blizzard set, android set, Black and Blue old wisconsins, level 20 beginner frozen tuna, and even more that I can't think of right now
I just love all the nostalgic value maple has!!

Soo long ago atleast 11 yrs past. I loved my fish stick(had a speed boost or faster attack) and i remember upgrading and kicking ass with it as a DK.

I have managed to get a handful of these items still, I have some of the surf and snowboards on my Evan, and I have the fish spear (which can actually still drop). I used to have the bamboo hats on my old accounts though I can't access those anymore.
I still want a Europa Bandana after all these years... I think when I first played I JUST missed them.
Dont know if anyone remembers them perm pink beans? I remember getting it on my second try. I also own a lot of old chairs like Worlds End and Chair of Thrones? I cant think of the name but it was a chair with a bunch of swords on it.

I think you can still get a lot of them from drops (fish spear, red whip, flaming katana)
You might as well mention the zakum helmet. There was so much hype over that item when it came out and Now it's like rarely used.

A friend gave me a surfboard on my first burning character which was an Aran and I hope I still have it. It was really good.

Wow. I remember a lot of this stuff, but a lot of what you showed was still way beyond my time. I played for about 2 years on and off from 2005-2007. My character probably has a lot of really old stuff..

fishspear was important, warriors used to miss attacks, since their accuracy were low, the fishspear had dex (which increases that) and 14 accuracy

Ahhhhh I miss all of these I joined gms just b4 the 1 year anniversary but I played maple sea before that because I didn't no there was a difference. My friend and I got region locked and I found global ms and we migrated over there

I just logged on to my character the was from El nido, bummer right, I mean elysium. I had some renegade coins. A bunch of pink flower scrolls a legendary ring, and like 500+ legends maple leaves. I miss those days where they would give away stupid rings or other gear. ( the frozen maple set was one of my by far loved sets along with the pearl and onyx sets)
I'm a veterin of MapleStory back in 2007 or so I had jumped on here and there throught the different updates. Recently I thought after getting hit with nostalgia again that I would log in again. I saw that they got rud of some of the servers in GMS and now it's all in 4 and they also added reboot. I see now that I have ones from my big bang updates the ar all fine but I only have my first created Character from the old Broa days. I had a few low level classes and I had a no class Character aswell. It had a bunch of these items on them and now they are gone. Is there any explanation that could be the cause of this? It was there about 4 years ago and now it's just gone. Have you made a video about this or has anyone else experienced this?
still use my talking witch hat i anvil-ed a raven persona over it and scrolled it decently well usually carries me to fafnir set
Power Mane and Blitz Helmet? I know they're not old or anything but people barely have those now a days. Lucky for me I've got both, I'm going to Anvil my Assasins hood onto blitz helm

The legendary Maroon Mop! Level 36 polearm with like 220 attack. Or of course, the infamous frozen fish from the commercial.
Im pretty sure the fish spear gave accuarcy? So warriors could save some AP to not put it into dex and still hit the monsters :)
