They did that so that when Myagi fought Kreese and Silver, you couldn't make out it was a stunt double. Same here. Look at the last episode and you will see what I mean.

This is the most predictable show and I enjoy it so much anyway. In an age where every show's quality seems to hinge on plot twists and cameos that are really easily spoiled (looking at you, Mandalorian), it's really nice to have a show that doesn't lose any of its fun even when you know exactly what's going to happen next.
