Wow really enjoyed your video!. I will make the trip to go see the monkies. You inspired me! Ty for advice on hand warmers and for feet. Enjoyed the warm smiles on your faces!!
Thank you so much for watching! Please come back and let me know if you visit the Monkey Park one day, it was one of my most favorite places we visited while in Japan.
I know it has been 2 years since you posted this. But Thank You so much, you gave me so much information about getting to the park that you can't image how much this has helped me!!! It will be my adult daughter and mine first time in Japan. You videos have been so very helpfull!! If you both can travel to Japan with your children, so can I!
Thank you so much for your sweet comment, comments like yours truly help push me to keep making videos! I hope that you have an amazing time in Japan, it is one my favorite countries to visit ❤️
Me too! I think the difference between these monkeys and other ones around the world (like in Bali) is that feeding them is strictly forbidden. The snow monkeys were so serene and unbothered by humans.
Great video! I'm going to watch the rest of your Japan videos now as well. Are you able to tell me the date you did the Snow Monkey trip? I went in March but didnt make it here and am planning my next trip
Thank you so much, we had such an amazing time in Japan! We visited Snow Monkey Park in early January so there was lots of snow and monkeys warming up at the springs. You should absolutely add it to your list for your next visit, it was such an incredible trip!
Thank you for posting this informative video. Did you buy the one day pass at Nagano station? Once you were at Nagano station how long was it to catch the bus, the hike and back to Nagano station?
Thank you for watching! To answer your questions: Yes, we purchased the one-day once we arrived at Nagano station. We decided to take the Nagano Dentetsu Train and you want to do the same follow the signs in the station to the train. Walking towards the train will lead you to the ticket counter to buy the one-day pass. The train takes about 50 minutes (if you take the express train). In terms of the actual hike, it depends on the weather conditions, your hiking ability, and how much time you want to spend admiring the Snow Monkeys. I would set aside no less than 2-3 hours for this portion of the trip. Make sure you note what time the last bus departs from Snow Monkey Park or you will be stuck riding the "local" train back to Nagano which takes much longer than 50 minutes! I hope this helps.
@@TribeonaQuest thank you so much and i appreciate you remembering all that since i know its been almost a year since you went. so i guess once you catch the dentetsu train you still need to catch a bus to get to the monkey park? and the reverse the order coming back to nagano. all that is included in the 1 day pass (train fare, bus fare, entry to park)
Thank you so much, this journey was so nerve-wracking, but I am so happy that I took the leap. But your travels don't have to be huge, you can start with staycations in your hometown!
Japan is full of gems.

Welcome thank you for having Japan come.
As I show around each beautiful place of Japan, please look if you have time!
Hot springs in the winter are great!
Right now, there are many places in Corona that are self-restraining.
I can't wait to go to the hot springs!
How fun!!! What time of year did you all go?
This is a very good place for family trip to Japan. This country has so good places that it makes me amazed!
Yes, I would agree, it was a bit of difficult trip logistically, but other than that it was the perfect trip for the whole family!
what a beautiful snow scene

Thank you so much for watching 💗
hi how bout the language communication in going there? are they speak english?
It's a good choice you made by travelling in train. Tbh buses in Japan is actually complicated for 'Gaijin' or foreigners in Japan.
I completely agree, the train system was so easy to navigate!
park!! You're a good presenter!!
Thank you so much, I love making content!
Don't wanna say something stupid but that place is actually pretty sick!! It's perfect for couples tbh
Yes, it would be an amazing couples getaway, especially staying at a local Ryokan!
