Ya man it’s an absolute must do. The cheap Chinese metal bends super easy. In my case we were out camping for thanksgiving for two weeks and it broke during the first week. Kids weren’t happy about it. On top of that a new hub and trailing arm cost hundreds.
@@marsingoutdoors we used cardboard to make the pattern then traced it out on a piece of steal and then cut it. Takes a bit of time to grind and sculpt the piece to fit cleanly. probably find a small sheet of steel at Lowe’s.

What’s the thickness of the gussets you used?
