DJI is one of the few companies that continues to innovate despite not having competition
@@pixels_per_inch For real. I get the natural feud with China and all and American's worrying about "chinese spyware in the drones".... But I say fuck it, these guys keep on innovating to help both with utility and content creation. Until they initiate an override killbot function, I'm gonna continue using DJI as long as they keep innovating.
The way they innovate is by ripping off brilliant young students. They hold drone technology competitions in China and offer industry job placement to the students that submit the most cutting edge technology advancements in their respective drone discipline. It's kind of like sharktank in that they offer a small reward for a technology that DJI will benefit 100-fold from.

I’m still flying my Mavic Pro v1, awesome 4K video camera. Gets the job done 👍🏻 I hope one day to upgrade to a MP 2 or 3 Pro & AVADA FPV just for fun. I own several DJI products most recently the DJI MIC and super happy with the quality, ease of use & the list goes on… Well done DJI 👍🏻
Wow, I totally thought this would be another bussiness drone but the price is surprisingly reasonaly for the specs. Sure a very expensive consumer drone and I won't get one but that speaker I could see being very useful.

Digital zoom. Quality won't be good at 56x or 28x.

I think it's highway robbery that they haven't. Of course we know why they delayed the M3 SDK release. It would compete with the M3E. Now where does that leave the M3? They released the SDK for the Air2. I'm still reeling over that. I'll never buy a new drone from them again unless the SDK is delivered the same day.

I think it would be a great feature for the RC Pro and other “Smart” remotes to have a low power “Data” mode that would allow the user to save more battery life to perform tasks such as editing images or checking social networks, tasks that don’t need the high powered antennas and other battery draining parts of the device typically needed during flight.
At the same time a similar low power “Data” mode for drones could be very useful. If the antennas, flight lights, GPS and other parts used only for flight could be turned of while transferring video and photos, updating firmware or doing other things while not in flight this would save battery and give the pilot more time to get things done.
Who else thinks that a new low power “Data” mode would be useful? 🤷♂️

So what is the difference between the mavic 3 and mavic 3 E? Just an extension port for additional parts? I thought the regular mavic 3 also has that port.
TimeSync, mech. Shutter, 0.7s min photo interval, RTK Mainly stuff to ensure accurate survey and mapping.

couldnt agree more! i feel like the SDK is ready however its been held back with managment and marketing wanting enterprise customers to buy the enterprise model whom dont require thermal imagingm the regular mavic 3 with the sdk would likely do fine, however dji is a corporation.. and they need to make money, simple.
Thinking about it indepth, if they have the SDK for a more advanced mavic 3 ready, how have they not got the SDK for the more basic version ready?
