I love watching you work! Beautiful starfish, too. I’m curious, what did you use to texture the top silver plate of the starfish? You have it on an anvil and one hand is holding the pendant, so I don’t think a hammer was used. I tried to see the final result, but it was sold out! Congrats!
Hello and thank you for your kind words. Oh that's a flashback! 2019 yeap that camera didn't like me at all! so if you navigate at 7:31 you can see me holding a mild steel round bar with a round edge you see I wanted a very soft hammered texture that's why I skipped using a hammer. You can see the final artwork after 12:14 hope this helps!
Hello and thank you! The flux i use is in liquid form 8 Oz / 1/2 Pint usually for metals with high melting points. Mostly used for precision soldering!
Thanks for the video. ..very nice project. Are those dental tools you're soldering with??!! Can you explain why? If they're really very useable, I'm thrilled cause my dentist gave me a bunch of them and I didn't know wth to do with them!! lol What shapes do you like to use?
Hello, and thaks for watching! I use dental tools in all of my projects i find most usefull the ones that are used for cleaning, you see i always wanted to be a dentist!
