Pretty much yea but now that you mention it I am considering adding a mini tube on the soldering area of the hook so the chance of melting the wire would be significant lower what you think? The black pen? Oh man now I have to type all this wall of text now to protect you! so it's a glass fibre pencil I found back in the day(wish I never did) but I never thought of how it would help me in anything and I was testing it in all this different applications I could think of, anyway it's made of this pieces of glass and only thing it can do is scratch I guess. I would HIGHLY recommend wearing safety glasses and a mask or respirator. Also be sure to use EXTREME caution when blowing a part clean this things can fly! I once had a trip to the emergency room due to microscopic glass fiber in my eye and that was enough to teach me the important lesson I hope you take this seriously.

@@Bizareart i think the mini tube could work. As for the glass pen, I've seen them before, they still make them. They are used for enameling to get microscopic scratches out. I'll probably never get one after that story about glass in your eye. 👁️

Oh that's a flashback! 2019 yeap that camera didn't like me at all! so if you navigate at 7:31 you can see me holding a mild steel round bar with a round edge you see I wanted a very soft hammered texture that's why I skipped using a hammer. You can see the final artwork after 12:14 hope this helps!

Hm I think you are a bit comfused with my honeycomb ceramic soldering brick? you know that fire brick for jewelry making? maybe you know it as a soldering block? firebrick? there is no wire mesh!

Hello, that would be the precision drill bit, I was actually testing if I could make a texture on the side of the leafs but I ended up by just using it for round up the gap!

@@Bizareart Hello, thank you for your answer. Yes, that is what I mean. I am afraid that if you would drop it, there would be a serious dent in the metal somewhere because it is so thin. But it is a really nice, tasteful, design.

Well the damage would be prety much the same even if we made it more than 0.8 thickness. Keep in mind that jewelry is made to be worn (usually) but If you are still concerned about the individual piece’s integrity, be smart about how and where you wear it is the best advice I can give you!
