Even in the TT stadium I had decent success with 5-60 Tapper. The lack of stamina is pretty noticeable, just need to launch as hard as you can and hope you don't self KO.

this was recorded right at the start when I got all of Hasbro X pre testing, so I still didn't know how to launch in the stadium
It might have worked if they didn't make the blade so small and added a tad of heft

Defense doesn't work in Beyblade X because rubber bits don't exist. A real defense beyblade would be a round and smooth heavy blade with a rubber coated round bit. The point of defense is to prevent knockouts while out spinning attack beys.
Pretty terrible take, Tyranno Beat, Wizard Rod on Hexa both work as good actual defense and do not need a rubber bit.
Honestly I’ve thought about rubber bits before, but I think it’s more so about how rubber bits _can’t_ exist rather than how they don’t exist. A rubber ball bit would wear down fast because it’s Beyblade X and everything moves fast and hits hard, and attack types go way too fast for rubber to help defending, since if the bey is lifted even a little then the rubber is basically negated, and that happens a lot especially with Xtreme dashes. By the time the beys slow down rubber is usually not needed to defend anyways
The problem with defense in Beyblade X (at least at the moment) is that anything a defense bey can do a stamina bey can tend to do the same. I don’t even know if defense types can exist in Beyblade X. There’s no point in a defense bit since attack types can send any bey flying, so you might as well go all in with stamina. I wouldn’t even call sharp bits defense bits because genuinely what do they do in terms of defense that make them better over a ball bit? A good defense blade tends to end up also being a good stamina blade because both types want similar blade shapes. Wizard Rod is round, smooth, and has good weight, so it’s good for defense, but because of the weight distribution it’s also really good for stamina. Because of the Xtreme line, defense beys can’t defend by trying to stop attack beys, and because attack beys are kinda inconsistent anyways all you need is a blade with a good shape, stamina, and good enough weight and that’s basically all the defense you can get. Hard defense beys I don’t think will ever work in Beyblade X

A while back defense beys used tips that resembled ball and orb with hard plastics and those held up well but of course that was before burst
