Been playing Fifa since 05. I decided to get pes 20 this year because I wanted gameplay over appearance. It does have its flaws like most games, but I am not disappointed. Its fun in a challenging kind of way. I find the gameplay really addictive. Whereas FIFA’s gameplay is boring and frustrating. With pes, I have to think about my set up and tactics before a game, something I’m still getting use to. Which brings me to your videos. They’re really helping me understand the game and how to set up my teams the way I want them to play. I only bought the game 2 days ago, so I’m sure soon enough I’ll get my team playing the football I want.

I just converted from fifa to pes and i have struggled to play front line pressure with Barcelona, often just resulted in me starting to play all-out defence. I hope with your tips i can improve in front line pressure! Thanks Spoony!
In all out defending: when possession is lost players drop back to create a wall. Frontline: when possession Is lost players press from the front trying to Win the ball. I prefer all out defending because Frontline pressure can be risky but can also easily create a fast counter attack.

I've been switching managers all these days trying to study how they affect my gameplay in different ways and trying to see which one really suits my playing style. Many people sign mangers only because of their formation.
I play with barcelona in master league with frontline pressure but everytime I lose the ball they drop back. I use Gegenpress and a high line but nothing works. I even checked the season stats and says I have frontline pressure as most used defense style but the slider is all the way to all out defense?!?! It doesn't make sense, I don't know what to do please help!☹
Use the attack/defence strategy mate. Try a fluid formation and adjust player positions. Like place defenders at an advanced part of the field on the game plan
Hey Spoony, great video as always. Would you mind revealing what level of compactness you went for on AOD Conservative? And are the level of defensive line and containment similar to PES 2019 or does it feel like its been tweaked/improved?
Big improvement, defensive line was broke in 2019 (evidenced in early video) and was never fixed. This is more like 2018 tactics which actually work. I went 5 defensive line and 5 compactness for AOD/Cons. Cheers
Both lol, it really depends on how you want to play. Do you want possession to start deeper in your half (might be a bit easier but much slower) or do you want to possibly win the ball higher up the pitch.
Spoony this video is awesome. I was wondering. Will you be doing formation tactic videos for the top teams in pes 2020? I know it might be hard work, but think it would be so valuable as you really know some key mechanics. I feel like im learning alot
I knew it! People do press down X while holding the R1 and R2 controls. That's why they always stop in front of my players and have a very wide radius of attack. Thanks, I saw that. N I'm turning on my game right now 😂 😂
Spoony.. why everytime i play against ai in master league superstar, they are very quick & fast to turn & move but when i move my own players using left analog stick is slower & heavy, unresponsive?
Could be down to team spirit. Has a big impact. Also check your player stats too, agility, tight possession, dribbling all really important in turning quickly
@@SpoonyPizzas hey after a week of constant hardwork i beat them 4-0 .. and qualified for the finals of ucl..... but the sad part is that my majority of quality players got injured due to madrid s annoying fouls and sliding tackles.... now i should play the final with young players...

No worries dude, it's about.getting used to lb and R-stick quickly to intercept and first touch tackle.

Can you make a tutorial for manual shooting? Quite hard to do that kind of shoot! The ball may not as curve as I want.

Hi mate, it does matter how fast they get back...but it appears to be minor compared to previous years games.

AOD/Cons, defensive line set to 3 with Deep Defensive Line. Can also set defensive on any CDMs. Cheers
